Thread: Linear Regression Channel Without center line

Can there be an indior that works like the typical MT4 Linear Regression Channel,
however, the centre line could be turned off or its colour changed?

To make it clear: I am not searching for any other LRC (there is a dozen),
but it should function like the builtin, that implies,
it can be dragged and resized with the mouse pointer.

Http://codebase.mql4.com/ru/source/3914 for your SDC; looks as if you can not delete the middle line as that's the whole point of the indy.

Http://www.metatrader4.com/forum/11716 that brings trendlines based on the SDC, and that means you could have a play with that.

Everything based on OBJ_REGRESSION probably won't help.
I figure.

Update: A dirty hack could lay a strong and background colour trend line over the middle line.
Maybe I attempt that. But not today.

Thats also a very nice indior (I already knew before).
However , it doesnt do what I'm asking for.
People, it is very kind of you, but submitting gazillions of regression station indis isn't the point.

I suspect, what I am searching for doesn't exist.
Both stations are based in their hardcoded MQL items (no settings for the center line),
or else they cant be resized with the mouse (to hard to do, nobody needs that).

ok, attached is a first attempt, I think that the settings are self-explanatory.
Alerts will be fired if the high of the signalcandle breaks the upper channel border, or if the low breaks the lower channel border.

When the indior is running in mode1 (high/low) alerts will be fired if the high or low of the candle is inside the user-defined piprange.

So imho It's Suggested to set signalcandle=0 (current candle)

I think it will work, Though It Is Quite late in the nite and I cannot sleep...
