Well here it goes...

Method:
J16

Time Frames:
weekly/daily/4hr

I'll be taking my transactions posted in this diary on a live account. If there is a trade posted that is taken on a demo account, I'll specify that.

Risk per trade will change, never exceeding 4 percent.

Up to the stage, my trading has been very loosely monitored. I think making a thread such as this will force me to shoot full and comprehensive recordings of all my decisions. Beginning this diary can simply help me I feel it is necessary in my pursuit of success.

Each weekend I will observe how much my account has increased, or how much my account has shrunk during the prior week in percent terms (that is realized and unrealized).

I need to thank my mentor, James16 for being the most helpful and giving human being online (that is not an exaggeration, just fact). His team in the J16 thread are too friendly and it will leave you stunned when you check it out. I have been inspired by others who've come up as powerful traders, specifically kissfan, MBQB11, and Jarroo would be the first 3 who pop into my head. I understand there's a lot more but you guys know who you are! If I ever return half to anybody else, what I have learned from these people, I'll be extremely delighted with myself.

Let's get this party started, shall we?

UPDATE: 4-29-2010

I have failed this thread in a poor way. I turned my focus back into the J16 thread, which thread was bogged down by politics and newer traders because of the past week or so. I can not whine about new traders, since I am a new trader also. But I feel like my graduation is near in terms of deciding who I AM, and exactly what I BELIEVE. It is time I want to reevaluate my own road, and decide what kind of transactions that I need to choose, and what my risk structure is for those transactions. Additionally, my technique has spread outside J16 PA, and submitting touch transactions at the J16 thread does not feel right to me anymore. Recently, I have had a good theoretical run of touch transactions going with the tendency (by theoretical, I mean that I have pinpointed some winner transactions before they were triggered, and would have proven to be somewhat effective in hindsight). My studies into around numbers at each 100 pip increment has also become better, also the concept that shutting up the whole position at a first goal area is a good idea, for the most part (thanks Mike! ) ) .

Additionally, I have began studying futures now. Expanding my knowledge to more markets will mean I have more chance, hence more reason to be patient and await the best deals. As of the date, I HOPE that I can be trading futures a live account after 3 weeks of research.

95 percent of traders fail. What do traders on forexsoutheast.asia NOT DO, especially in the journals department? Answer: They do not post their trade terminals. Why? Because they are a part of the 95%. period. End of conversation.

I plan to begin posting my terminal , and following what I see in my own charts, and my own risk structure once I see a chance. I don't care if I have a series of losing trades. Really I do not. Money doesn't matter, what matters is advancement. AM I IMPROVING? Well, that will be viewed here.

I owe my awareness to my own mentors, and with them I'd be doomed.

Rules:
I'm not smarter than my rules
All transactions where a egy was followed, go in the winner column. /- is immaterial
Weekly transactions are managed on a weekly chart, daily transactions are managed on a daily chart
Trend is that my buddy
Counter trend trades are great for 1% risk at the maximum
Trend transactions are great for 3 percent risk at the maximum
Be patient
Do not be greedy

If you guys have any queries in regards to why I required a trade the way I did, or something of this character, I hope you'll ask in a sensible way that does not hint at pie in the sky expectations since I won't cope with this. Additionally, private messages get a much better response from me than a random post thrown into my thread , so think about that a hint as to the way to get a good response from me.

UPDATE: 6-2-2010

New update, I have decreased the number of pairs I'm trading down to:

EURUSD
GBPUSD
AUDUSD
USDCAD
EURGBP/GBPCHF (these almost mirror each other)
EURJPY
GBPJPY

I may set a rare trade here and there around the other pairs, however another pairs are too choppy I have found. Lowering to these ones will let me get a better sense for them specifically as well. Additionally I can concentrate heavier on futures, and getting accustomed to the fundies!
