Forgot to ask IC customer service what time will I expect disconnection issues today. This is my answer.

They are changing for a provider the. IC is not the only one company affected every employers employing the provider are, with this.
Well... that is sucks because it is an important week :-/

However, I prefer this broker for many reasons... let see after this week-end.

Okay hope they get a new damn provider, I feel sorry for them. Especially when it happen during London/US session not their fault but only sucks. If it was Sydney or Asia wouldn't care really.

    DDoS attack from China?
    ?
The provider has to learn how to deal with DDoS otherwise it will surely repeat in the future.

If a DDoS is really large there's not much you can do against it. It's true that you can filter net packets on a extremely fast firewall to protect more load-sensitive components supporting it even that item has limits, just as the hosters uplink(s). In the end, there is a reason botnet owners can demand a ransom for not targeting your company (economically speaking: they could not demand one if you could just buy some Cisco Anti-DDoS box and then plug it into your network). As soon as all your uplinks getting hammered up for their constraints in the long run it doesn't matter how much hardware you throw supporting it.

    Edit:

    in the leeprate source http://leaprate.com/2015/10/onezero-...ate-exclusive/

    Reason: Core router, hardware failure.
Retrieval: Issue isolated to redundant manager on core router, router rebooted, failure, faulty redundant manager eliminated, router rebooted.
A DDoS does not kill hardware. I'm not saying they are lying exactly what I would say they had more issues than a chinese botnet,

Im with ic too, I have the impression they are most likely getting attacked and blackmailed for cash? 1 reason: its been systematic over the london session.

Not them directly but likely their hoster (onezero). Just read the comments above and follow the leaprate links.

They emailed all clients this: http://icmarkets.com/newsletter/808/

It is unfortunate these things happen, but as I have said before. . This is not IC Market's fault as it would have happened utilizing oneZero's services. They've said they will refund anyone.

So be it, consequently they would have gained respect from their clients, and kept clients and possibly gained a few more due to pure empowerment, but what did they choose to do, if this meant a stop to trading? Wait till clients began calling support...
    it's their fault.
    They attribute ISP.
It Wasn't ISP Issue. It had been attack they were not even conscious of!!!

One simple response, shut the account https://www.google.se/search?rlz=1C1...IVQxUsCh2FsAa3! and find a better broker.
If you didn't have a stop loss and then got disconnected, the resposibility lies completely on you personally,
it is up to you to protect your investment not the broker. But ofcourse, as a client
you should expect the broker to maintain the server online, that is not your job.
Trading is tough enough as it is, with trading enviroment such as this it would not be possible.
I advise you to alter broker asap.
