Yeah CMS told me exactly the same thing. . .but I am awaiting Forex.com to affirm it. So far they're all telling me is they're looking into it.Originally Posted by ;

Compared to other brokers it is the only one I get customer support with. But I have not been able to determine what discussions you will find. I have not a clue if forex.com is going to be licensed to use the platform is going to be given it , etc.. And of course software integegration and testing. But I really don't know how long they have done that. If that was in the past couple of weeks or months.
Unless if profit is cheap and figures they will stay in business anyway rather than trying to acquire the market via platforms, I do not understand why they would say no.
Apparently I am told aside from the 3 platforms they offer, you can use esignal and ninjatrader and some thing else. This hasn't been researched by me. So if Gain gives the option of NUMEROUS platforms it would make sense and I'd be optimistic that they will try to acquire the platform and not brush it off after week.
But the support reps(who suspect were offshored) for Gain did not tell me some of this, CMS told me that the platforms Gain offered.
Thus if they don't have adequate service another time, and no platform, and some additional difficulties, not certain why anyone would maintain it. I am sure they're getting thousands of traders with much more cash than that, and for this, a lot pickier with. I am hoping I might be a bellweather.
I expect someone for retail trading has this program. I feel a fee is charged by a few, so I expect it is not overpriced at the point, a lot of people trade with micro's and mini's.
I only wish to say the people at CMS are unworthy. They have not answered any of my emails.
Basically I am taking a hit on my long term positions I have been building the last 2-3 months to carry out over the upcoming few months....if I had known with a correct quantity of time that CMS was shing I would have not opened those places. I attempt to follow the market maker principle where you open your position in quarters or thirds to permit for it to move against you a tiny bit. . .in the end it functions. . .or it's in the past for me. Anyways. . .sorry for Indices....but I had been speaking to CMS and basically they don't reopen the trades in the price you originally opened them at so that you take a loss on your negative trades (or profit on your profitable trades). . .so I am losing the rankings I have been building...I know I can make it back. . .but why if I must take this hit?? . . .what I want to know is how is this lawful? It's not like it was a margin call or something. . .but how do they just do this. . .why not only transfer everything over as is? Is this some sort of scam or what?
I so wish to curse them!
In addition, it appears they have only 3 people working in their client support, sales and technology support as I consistently get the identical individual who's never helpful and takes forever to answer things.
I am just so frued at how they only gave us a couple of days earlier this change...I mean, seriously, they'd have known ages ago that they were going to close. Such rubbish!
I would hate to be standing close to them if karma ches up with them.
Another thing....
The bonus thing. . .it wouldn't surprise me if it turns out it is not being honoured. . .CMS hasn't given me my bonus money . . .so I wouldn't be surprised when they had been lying!
URGH!
I financed my account a week after being seduced by the Holiday Bonus they had running. Truly an ingenius, also dull, marketing egy to lure people in shop after. BTW, still no reply in Forex.com regarding this advertising!!
Been with CMS for 5 years
Cms is/was NOT a scam. Legitimate broker, that I used for 5 years. 2-3 days, usual withdrawal period is/was.
Reason I'm writing that it is/was, which, following some said CMS US will be ceasing operations for retail traders, I spoke to encourage, and they confirmed that ALL CMS branches, in Bermuda, US, UK, ... will be ceasing operations, along with accounts becoming transferred to GAIN beginning business day close now, and presumably continuing next week.
