Thread: What broker has the tightest spreads?

  1. #1
I use Oanda and the spread is currently 1.5 on the EUR/USD, not mended. Are there any brokers available with tighter spreads?
Oanda allows 50:1 leverage maximum; I wish it had been 100:1
Apart from that I really like them.

I see EFX Group includes a 1 pip spread on the EUR/USD and other pairs too, that's wonderful. For me is the smallest position you can consider the one thing that sucks is 10k. With Oanda I will go as little as I like that's something I want because I scale into trades, as well as my puny account I can not scale in at 10k a popup.

I find today that I must have put my post over at the broker discussion section. Oops.

MBTrading is virtually just the same as EFX. I had a futures account with them already when they launched their Currency Market offering. I'm very satisfied with lowest spread around them, fantastic customer support, and sophistied entry and exit order panel, even for scalping, good enough. Yes, one problem is 10K. Aside from that, can not ask for more.

You have to remember that EFX and MB aren't fixed spreads. . they range. Commission is also charged by them. . So it would be similar to adding.5 into a disperse.

Nope. The place that is smallest is 1K. Attempt to put 0.1 lot and you'll be amazed.

You may be right. I understand I attempted 0.5 miniature lot before while demo-ing EFX.

That is $5 per side on 100,000. So, another $5 once you shut that position. That means $10 per round turn per 100k. That is only for crosses where the USD is still the pair. The GBP and EUR are calulated as utilizing those currencies as the main. This usually means that you are paying a little under $20 per 100k round turn on the pound.
