Thread: Managing Star Traders (the top 1%)

This guy funds and manages celebrity traders:

Concerning dominicanosrus: I'm involved with the screening of traders of different styles for an institution that alloes funds to money managers. I began in this business with a preference for scalpers, but due to the limited liquidity that's accessible instantly in this market, I have grown fond of other trading styles as well.

The one thing I could add to Bruce's good post would be to say just how significant that rule #1 is, in particular not being covetous. . .that was my big problem, and I did not come to be a constant trader until I got a handle on this.

Hey Poocher; it has been a while! What are you up to?

The amazing thing is that my initial 693 FX trades were ALL winning ones.

Please rely if you prefer. Then you will see that this trading statement only contains the TRUTH!!!

I am looking for additional funds to manage. I have been trading since 2003 and began trading actual money through March 2006.

Thank you and Good FX trading.

Just replied to a PM. For some strange reason, I get the feeling that we have spoken before.

Now if I could just get the celebrity trader to slow down enough to communie the trades to me before pips won are lost...

If it were only possible to automate the trader's signal production directly to the position sizing supervisor's live trading platform... does any broker allow for this?
This kind of automation/workflow is very easy to do but might want a little bit of programming.

Quite simply, the trader would put tiny positions into Metatrader and an API would send the rankings to the money manager. Simple stuff to program actually.

Bruce; from the PM now I realize you and I have spoken in the past. There is simply too much controversy within your name online. Sorry. Fantastic luck.

I really like the sarcasm on this site, and the people who like to knock people which are making money from Foreign Exchange. Only for the sake of the people who do this, and are not morons....and got what Bruce and I were saying about not being greedy....once you get your account to a state where you're earning great money per week....you don't keep compounding, you take your profit out every week.
