And that of his library books should I get first? You know so I know nothing, that no daytrading has been done by me. I hope you do not mind alot of questions. I don't know whether I could do this because I do not understand how much cash I want to spend the bank/brokerage? I have about $700 that I would be willing to lose. Is that sufficient to understand with, or even how much do I want?

    Thank you very much.

hello elcome aboard, first of all dont risk some of your cash until you learn and then demonstration trade what you learn. Open a demo account with fxsolutions, there are reasons which you will learn later. Then begin looking around and try some things. Its a learning process ( how many times have I said understand ) and it requires some time. Is our wizard and he conducts forum. His best seller to make the market go your way with a wave of my wand is currently sold out. LOLLLL. Anyway stick around and begin reading the threads. jim

Hi Mike! Welcome to forum, the FX forum on the web. You've come to the ideal place if you would like to know FX. Don't hesitate to ask your own questions. The only bad thing is the one you do not ask. I understand being confused. There's a lot to understand, but if you'll go at your own pace and learn a little bit every day you're able to make good progress with time. Merlin is our resident guy who fancies himself a wizard. He's the owner and operator of forum. I like you and him will also. There are some pleasant folks on this forum so I believe that you will enjoy your time here. As to that of Merlin's books, I would recommend Reminiscenses of a Stock Operator first because it reads like a book, followed by Market Wizards. Both books are worth their weight in gold. $700? Well, yes, you can start with that small, but it would be better if you had. Others may express views but that is what makes this forum great; the diversity of ideas! Don't hesitate to ask more questions.

P.S. I love your avatar! I've got a. Rocks, live rock!

Could I back order Merlin's book, or get the batter that maybe comes with it? I really could practice zinging a couple of things until the publication is available again:--RRB-

Thank you Diallist. I will begin saving up to $2000. I have. Jim (above) said to demo trade until I learn how. I think that's good advice, don't you? I'm curious now what are the reason Jim said I would learn that make fxsolutions a fantastic brokerage firm? Must be complied reasons but good ones.

Yes! Rock is great stuff! I've around 15 poiunds at a 30 gal tank. Good surprise monsters, and also filter!

I enjoy your signature. It is wonderful to see somebody give honour to God.

    Thanks for your answer.

    Mike,

If you live in the USA you can conserve your trading capital by using the public library to order your books for free. See my article above or call your local and ask them to have loans began. You may even set up a link on your personal computer to order books.

I feel all the novels on Merlin's list and others mentioned in this thread are available at the library. Believe me, trading books are not affordable. 50 to 165 dollars each.

Wow! Why are trading books expensive? Thanks you. I've a friend in the library, so she can help me order publications. Thank you Lou for helping me save money.

fxsolutions allows micro lots. Which is exactly what you want to exchange until you've got an account value, if I recall correctly, of 25k approximately. They allow you to work with cash management that is better on a account. jim

Micro lot? Alright, I will make a guess that in case a lot is 100000 and a mini is 10000 afterward a micro should be 1000?

I just read about leverage if I had 400 to 1 leverage and I had the $2000 in my account which dialist suggested I could buy $2000 * 400 = $800000 which will be 8 full lots! Wow! Where can I sighn ??? up

Relax, I read about the danger of Implementing you whole account, however how much do I need to use? What's the amount?

    Thank you Jim
