  1. #1
    Hello, my friends.

This weekend I was involved marginally to Poker sector and was surprised how similar it is to Forex industry.

    Few common things:

    Let's start from the start:

    - Services give you great deposit bonus up to 200 percent
    - You can play on multiply accounts at the exact same moment.
    - tens of thousands of egies and approaches the way to create money.
    - Poker EAs also exist!

    What do you think?

The only parallel I could draw between poker and forex is that both require good risk management skills. It's money down the drain.

Agree. However, Poker Rooms and Forex brokers utilize exactly the exact same, almost exactly the very same tools to acquire more customers.

P.S Once I was posting this thread, I wanted to place it in Trader discussion folder, but posted it here, coz I think it fits here . Am I correct?

You cannot play with poker on accounts. Poker sites conduct ID checks that are random and if you're caught with more than one account you'll be banned for life. They will freeze your account and you wont get your money back.

Same with using poker EAs - you'll be banned if caught, but poker bots cannot beat thinking human players anyhow.

Deposit bonuses must be cleared through routine play - to make a $200 deposit bonus that you would have to play with nl25 or nl50 daily for a few months. And you will wash out long until you clear the incentive.

I had been talking about not multiply accounts - about table.

Not only that, but I have seen Forex brokers advertisements through poker tournaments. I see no other motive aside from marketing to a personality type.

Many who make a living promoting affiliate progr focus specifically on 3 things. Poker, FX and ahem. . .pornography.

I didn't know that. It makes sense.

It is fairly possible to play against people who are much better at poker than you are, but win based purely on money management. Poker players don't understand money management like a studied Forex practitioner. Money management is absolutely key of' gaming' in any kind.

I have harped on this before, but in case you have not read Trade your way to financial freedom by Van Tharp, do yourself (and your own poker game!) A favor!

Not Correct. Good poker players know money management as well since some of the traders.
