Thread: Traders! I need a FX Career, please help

Hi traders I have 1 year Currency Market experience with live account.

I am not talking a trading egy nor my functionality, I am employed as a stock broker, and my salary is too low, also I have a mentor in electric engineering,

I should change to whether a high paying job within the industry or to beginning my own FX currency management company.

here is a few ideas, I am trying to take a route that serves equally in one single shot,

I am considering making CMT (the 3 degrees ) and entering Series 3 ex to become a CTA or CPO.

I need more ideas, I wish to progress in my career by last 2012 max, like I am growing up (now 26) and I am afraid that I am few steps below.

Please advice

Never place a time constraint on your trading objectives. If you do you'll drive bad trades to be made by yourself because you've eliminated your ability to wait patiently for great setups. In 26 you are only starting your career. FX tasks are merely that. Jobs. From the new market order, traders do make trading decisionsthe portfolio manager does. Traders will need to execute the portfolio manager's instructions in the very best price they could get.

I'd hate to break the news to you, but you will likely never get a gig with a major hedge fund or bank. Your best alternative is to attempt to use your degree in electric technology and trade FX on the side. Eventually, becoming your own boss trading for a living. It's not what you need to listen, but it's the reality. You may most likely make a living using your degree in electric engineering. Hook up with a company and the sky will be the limitation. If u want a high paying job in the finance world get an MBA in an ivy-league. Sure by what I've read in company magazines you need to get a student loan but its a deal as you'll make it all back in a couple of years and several several times more in years ahead.

Well, mr Ronald, I am sorry for the delay in reply, yes I will be my boss later on, but I need to get some experience through a job, which will give me exposure and link. Exposure to the trading platform can they operate, trading platform, big position sizing , at least thats what I believe, I am trying for Series 3 I will register as a CTA/CPO
