Thread: Problem in trading with InterbankFX

  1. #1
For few days I am having real difficulty in trading using InterbankFX. Whenever I click on execute a market order (However large the slippage control might be) most of those times I am getting 'off quote'. I can know if this occurs in volatile market (during news). But I am experiencing this dilemma in perfectly calm market conditions too. I experimented 0.01 lot USD/CHF using slippage management of 100 pips and the exact same problem persists.
Even I can't shut my USD/CHF transactions that were opened a minumum of one week ago. I had a live chat with one of their representatives, but nothing improved. I am worried about my funds with InterbankFX and'm considering to withdraw it. I'd love to know whether other IBFX clients confronted similar problem or not.

I've seen nothing unusual. IBFX has a number of different servers today so we might be on different servers. I just have mini accounts on a few servers.

    Hi,
there's a spike in nzdusd chart now and on 23 july 2008. Here's what they told me in the live chat:

Thank you for calling us. The upcoming available agent will be right with you. Our objective is quality service. You will tell us how exactly we do now by clicking HERE.
You're now chatting with 'Client Services 20'
Client Services 20: Hello that is Burke. How may I help you?
You: hi. . Why is there a spike in nzdusd chart?
You: there was also a spike yesterday in 1:00
Client Services 20: Frankly, I'm not revealing any indiions as to why the spike took place, but that is actually the next one like it within the past two days.
You : so will it happen again?
Client Services 20: It might, but there is no guarantee it will or won't.

The spike happened to me tonight on the NZDUSD. IBFX is used by me also.

You can declare that IBFX have improved their own Virtual Dealer Plugin techniques recently:
    - If you have any orders triggered at news time, they maintain them for a few seconds so they can execute them in the end of the spike.
    - More regular 'Off Quotes' specially at volatile instances so not able to shut transactions. The 'Off Quotes' happens as it is possible to guess when price is moving and you want to shut the trade so you end up with less pips or a reduction.

It is Saturday in Utah so that they would not process your withdrawl now anyhow. They are most likely updating their web site or internet site server again. I have some concerns / complaints about them. Going out of business within the weekend isn't among them.

The dwell account servers appear to be functioning fine. The two my accounts utilize.

If they are down 18 hours from now we can always ask Scott to drive by and check on them.

Thursday Friday of the week I was trading 1m EURUSD charts on my IBFX MT4 Mobile platform without any issues other than signal power, which would be my mobile service provider's quick coming. There has to be a issue with how you have your customer terminal configured... I don't allow any deviation from quoted price.
