I look for transactions 5:00-5:30 pm (GMT-8:00) Pacific Time (US Canada) so for me that's only after the open of their daily bar, however I will take trades anytime I get a signal and I am in front of the pc: )

yes I use to trade the news for years,but I find it to harmful and I dont like the spreads and slippage durning those times. I'm from the united states and most of the reports come out to early in the afternoon and I get very little sleep which leaves less time for my own family. Word of information be careful about accepting trades the minuet news reports have been published await the retrace unless you understand what You're doing...I learned that the hard way: )
