TRADING PLAN (brief )

Total 20 transactions on demo account with the following standards:

Period 1: January 7, 2010
Time frames: Daily*and Weekly and 4H Just 4 activate setups: PB, MRB (BUOB/BEOB, DBLHC/DBHLC), IB, IPB. Position size: 2 percent of overall account ($50,000) Entry: Conservative - fracture of a signal bar Exit: Full position @FTA or next S/R or Hold if with trend. Check list 6 rules utilized (can change in the procedure if needed) Trade check list:Setup bar: PB,MRB,IB,IPB (construction ) Traffic and Space (condition) Price at Swing High/Low, PPZ, BRN (place ) Void into FTA (room to maneuver ) Signal bar size (compared to previous transfer ) My state (tired,nervous etc) INITIAL BALANCE: $48,723.89
REALIZED P/L: -$6267.68

I'm not giving up or anything. Right now I'm setting up everything, my platform, my rules and proceedures etc. to easily change my trading to WEEKLY charts.

Thinking a lot about this AND most importantly the fact that Forex daily pub closes at 3:00AM local time, I think my trading could be much more successful with weekly installments. Stronger setups (more information within one pub ) longer to analyze the installation, clear head (not sleepy etc.)

So mainly there'll be weekly trades with occasional daily setups (never intraday).

Do you think you have enough data to be disappointed with all the daily chart and move to weekly? Weekly charts also demand iron level of patience, as the trades come once in a while, and if they come, you have to wait for long to make them profitable.

I think of those ways I could exchange 4H but looks as the intervals would actually mess with my normal job. So I stick to weeklies... perhaps occasionally when I see a possible fantastic setup forming I'd forfeit my sleep to take it on daily... but that would be rare...

Two things 1) upper extreme of the box I visit and 2) I like the nose protrude slightly above that previous PB high, therefore is like we picked up some ceases to get a difficult fall down? I like that there wasn't any close above the 1.0 about the 2 Week chart.

What about the taffic? Any issues there?

But I presumed space and traffic isn't an issue once we exchange the box???

THIS IS Crucial.

WE MUST LEARN TO:

1. Detect a solid s/r area just outside our pa if it is.
2. Understand that if we exchange into it we'd better be prepared for a quick reversal that could give us a loss if we are not prepared.

When we understand its there we now have several choices.

1. Get out as it gets there for a small profit.
2. Simply take a small partial profit and move the rest to BE.
3. Remain in with your complete position hoping to get a rest and then move your cease to BE.
4. Dont enter before the amount was broken.

Hello Chistabo, thanks to your article and help. I read no brainer ribbon (most of it) I do not like it whatsoever. I don't think it is profitable in any respect. . Yes it is easy to post just those profitable trades and they'll look great. I don't utilize any indiors, just also a MA's and BRN.

I hardly article but one thing that makes me decide to do so now: viewing that u are fighting with non-improvement in ur trading.
I understand how it feels, I fought with mine also.

Here are two of the things that enhanced my trading; it may or may not be of help2 u(simply want to point it out):

I) I stopped taking transactions at consolidations
ii) I stopped taking counter-trend trades

all ur setups were in ranges or contrary to the trend, why not leave those areas for people such as Mike, Jarroo etc.. They understand how to handle them.

You know I had been thinking a lot about all those losses, and losses in stock journal I have (I have them printed facing me) and I am comepletely agree with you.

I formulated that rule just a few days ago really and it's NEVER fade (brief ) HH. If there's DIV, BRN, regardless of the initial HH is NOT tradable for me anymore it isn't important. I will wait for the price to show me LH (which may signal trend alteration ) - Simply by doing so I feel the result should be better (well talking from backtest...).

With regard to consolidations. I am still thinking. Also many times they fail, although my backtest show some trades that are pleasant. I believe you are right I need to prevent those choppy movements but search for ranges rather....

So I have like 1) Trade trend two ) Trade range (not tight consolidation)

That is of course sounds great on paper and on history charts. I will see how I will do in time. But I feel that my prospective results should be better... I have also cleaned up a few other incorrect things I had in my egy...

So we will see. I expect.

Oh and the last thing I truely believe was one serious issues is my patience/ability to decide on the best/just wait for best... I opened little live account now, and I think this emotional problem should be solved (I hope). .

I shall abandon this thread shortly as I complete this last open AUD/USD demo trade, and continue to post my results in this new live thread I have in my sig.
