01:04,
I have been meaning to start a new Dax discussion thread for a while, so here it is. This thread isn't meant to replace any other existing Dax thread, just to stand on its own as a ribbon for Dax traders that wish to look at their degrees and evaluation with others or mine, or discuss points that are applicable.
I have been trading Dax consistently for several decades now, and like it for its own volatility, large selection, and low spread, especially important if having a stop loss rarely wider than 15-20 pips, and that I am ready to do by time my entries off of a 20 second chart. I am a multi-time frame dealer, using 1m, 20sec, 5m, 20m, H1 and H4 graphs, all of which I have times. On days when I am not trading Dax, I am trading GJ, easily my favourite forex pair.
If anyone wishes to post transactions, then can I request they are backed up with a justifiion and perhaps a chart, because the reason this is about the Discussion thread (currently transferred byforexsoutheast.asiamoderators to Stocks and Commodities ) rather than an interactive one is because I would like to discourage the purchase here/sell there kind article, which is of little worth to others unless it's backed up with a justifiion for the transaction. Personally, I do not have time or inclination for submitting my transactions, so I will refrain from it. What I will do is post my thoughts on the probable daily direction once I have it, SR amounts, and whatever else during the day I see as significant advice for Dax traders. I encourage others to do the same, agree with me, disagree with me, post your very own degrees and evaluation, whatever, as long as it's constructive and objective. My focus will be on intra-day trading, therefore I will rarely post any TA that is farther out than the subsequent 24 hours, even though I will occasionally refer to longer duration levels of support and resistance if I see them as significant.
For starters now, I see Dax carrying pretty strong down momentum thus far now, but potential support isn't much beneath, which probably explains why it keeps coming and moving back again. The concluding support I have now is S2 @ 12,185. If this breaks , then we are into fresh lows for the week unless it double bottoms. Upside is chy to say at the moment, so I will leave that alone, although CP @ 287 is a chance if it does manage to reverse north during the NY session. DFib amounts on the drawback now are 61.8 @ 12,218, which we just struck, and 76.4% @ 188, only above S2.
Just 1 thing I ask, should you post graphs, which is perfect, no problem there, but keep it to two or one, since there's no bigger turn off than someone who posts ten of their graphs in a row, bearing in mind that for the majority of us, another dealer's charts can be quite meaningless when they bear absolutely no resemblance or relation to their own.
Good, let us find out how we get on.
