Hi Alex

https://www.forexsoutheast.asia/attachments/1526439306.jpg nicely done my friend. Https://www.forexsoutheast.asia/attachments/1526439306.jpg

as I guessed yesterday they've used this to create a 'killing field'.... We have to be aware of the form of places large orders could be lurking and how the MM's play their match.

Missed this transaction myself was to other things by the time this took off.

Hello my friend.

I actually had just sat down at my desk to do my assessment of charts and had been watching the killing fields already - watched and felt the bulls kick in large and so followed them pre the news so believed they'd go for it as bulls very much more powerful all of a sudden and scared shorts of course. Bit luck with time. Just proceeded with momentum - then it went all broad rangey - tried that a bit for the longs but took my men out with a few tiny pips as too much selling kicking in and bulls having difficulty here and there - could have made more but I still didn't enjoy it.

Alex (not so cool really)

Saxsel
01:23,
Hi Alex

pips at the bank are pips at the bank and all are cool, make it 1 or 100 at a time, things come together when you become aligned with the market/price and then you receive the odd lucky run to bank, our job is ants work slow and steady.

Was sitting watching them dip the H1 buyers and waiting for the reaction, but have decided not take that trade today since it will drag me into my overnight as well as the demo account doesn't have sufficient F/cap however to do things like that.

Calling it a day today.

regards

Phil.

E/U demo trade.... More luck than skill using this one.... ....that worked out nicely... have been stalking this play all week - analyzed longs a Couple of times all and just traded small shorts a Couple of times testing them too - but maybe not in the biggy move due to news but you could feel it coming from the down play - lots of buying concealed in the killing fields

More sad news out of London...

Hi Alex

nicely done my friend.

So long as you understand when you are trading counter and apply the correct management to it then you shouldn't have problem, I do it too sometimes, to me the key thing is to know where we're in the move as you see by my charts I am constantly eyes wide within the time frames surveying the battlefield and at which the places of interest are to struggle or leave the battle.

It definitely felt like this to me too (the buying), that is the reason why I hit the H1 buyers place with this last transaction.

ANT's WORK a lot of the time...

ADDED...

I must just remind everybody that this is a demo and so trading a single pair at a time to demone some thoughts about how currency management, I would of typically been trading 2-4 pairs at one time and doing the same thing with the cash as I revealed here.... Offsetting profit/loss transactions to book a 'set' of transactions into my account, I'm trading my account (the cash) not trying to beat any single pair, all that should matter to us is protecting our account and reserving a profit.... That is our goal as traders.

That the 'magic' is not in just including the skews as most do and they wonder why 'it sting' them, the art is in you managing/adjusting them in very open and adaptable ways, the skews are just a tool and it takes time and practice to get the best out of any instrument.

Hi Alex

now I'm a bit older I need the 10 minute snooze involving candles. . .lol. https://www.forexsoutheast.asia/attachments/1526439902.png .

Fti said trading M5 or M15 is nice, I loe M15 for me cuts out a few of the sound so that I can get better quality entries and buy/sell reads from the bars, so it supplies me without need to test/scout so many things, it's just my preference, I do sometimes use M5 to attempt and refine an entry in a pullback but not quite often now.

Fti stated trading M5 or M15 is fine, I find M15 for me personally cuts out some of the sound so that I can get far better quality entries and buy/sell reads out of the pubs, so it supplies me without need to test/scout so lots of things, it's only my taste, I do sometimes use M5 to try to refine an entrance into a pullback but not very frequently today. regards Phil. U/C demo trade.... Got caught out here promoting a bottom. Our job as traders is to create a profit not be right or wrong or possess complete perfect entries each moment. This is a lengthy trade... .... Great charts my buddy. I look to same selling/buying zones for rapid in/out rescue if there is response but can be harmful and cause me to stiff mind.

The only real difference here is that I'd have used m15 to flip ie stop reverse together with bull momentum when dips got taken out by powerful bull run and response then had enormous bull momentum - stop in PB to reduce loss (or try rapid in/out rescue) subsequently reverse.

Thanks so far this is gold for everyone to review and learn...

I enjoy the dialogue you've got with yourself as price action develops.... I am attempting to do that as it helps. Or perhaps I am just weird talking to myself. Didn't FTI say that could happen?

Hi Alex

thanks my friend https://www.forexsoutheast.asia/attachments/1526439937.png.

We all do things differently and that is ok as stated he wasn't wanting to produce carbon copies, as long as our bottom line is going the correct way then we're on the ideal path, one thing in this is we can't escape the fact of what our account is telling us we simply have to monitor and adjust our direction until we're comfortable and not living/trading our emotions. Https://www.forexsoutheast.asia/attachments/1526439938.jpg

trading is a lonely business so I have to speak to somebody. . .lol. and. . Fti did state so long as we do not answer ourselves that is ok....lol

I try to compose the charts as I go/save them so I can put what I am thinking in these, this way others may view my train of thought while trading and. . Hi Alex The spiral is the cornerstone of the money management. Note the larger numbers are under, price was moving up, the reverse recovery is more powerful to enable a faster exit and re-group, you can reverse or let it cancel itself out which would produce a general profit as price continues the move. I've recorded a couple of reverse recoveries here but I used the PA to input not a set figure. This is purely to demone how money if managed correctly will look after itself, while price is ranging it may trigger both longs and shorts, finally... Hi Phil, interesting stuff you got there.

welcome and Thank you to the interest.

No worries, I watched the deleted post, by the edit I notice you know what I am doing and how.

It stems from integrating AOW into my MO, all that matters is the condition (account), I trade my cash, the market is the vehicle where it travels only, the way that it travels is around me and I have determined a 'best outcome' and 'by any means' egy is the best way for me, since I have stated many times on the TAF thread I have tested my account and myself to be able to handle 1000 pip moves (although never it gets this far away anymore), my defence (as it must be for almost any condition) is far more than troops I use to fight the individual battles, for me a profit is a profit and losses shouldn't be tolerated, where or that 'profit set' is composed is irrelevant to mepersonally, I win when I bank a break or above commerce, not when I finish a commerce in any single pair.

It is too hard to show this spread across the many pairs I trade, so I have condensed that basic idea into trading demonion pairs to try out show what I do, being dyslexic I have difficulty explaining myself that is why I use a lot of charts and pictures/videos.

The charts are really great, to be honest I prefer the way you present things.

There's something I am interested in showing you too, it's my own speculation though, it has been sitting in the back of my mind for a while. You understand how previously mentioned there are techniques to be certain book does not lose money?
I was wondering whether that mo is it, so the basic core is the ing, the ad-hoc egy is using 3k to hedge and rotate momentum, and when cross still incorrect, implement a special collar egy in the form of 1.3x security financed by 1.6x options premium, e.g. extended 1x spot, long 1.3x put, brief 1.6x call.
3 situations, if keeps falling, the 1.3x call keeps helping us break, if retains ranging, basic rescue mo, if sudden counter urge back up long, we could allow the long accumulate profits till it strikes the strikes of the brief call, in that case, attack with 0.6 into fibo spiral lock and out volatility and spot long money's and figure approaches to ship the position up because we're fairly much profits, we could allow it to expire in the money. The secret is that if in saving mode, we utilize 0.3 subjected by our puts to carry out rescues without spiralling publiion to oblivion, and engineer slow egy retreat while puts keep holding our profits (saving 2, then have 5 complimentary, 5 saving 3 then 8 complimentary, 8 save 5 and all out and puts heavy in the money). If it goes down, we could close sold call and roll it lower because, it's in our favour given by how options premium decay when price moves away from attack.

This was exactly what I was imagining about the cycle egy, that's if the egy's cycle begins moving in a loop, it could be possible to balance the publiion without entering death battle.

I find that what you've got there in principle is comparable?

Fundamentally it's to deactivate markets sigma and volatility and turn it in our favour.

quote Could I ask what all this means? Alex hi alex, well, do you recall when revealed us seeing nick leeson's instance of the way he rescued book? It was short call brief put against a very long spot.

So what happens is that he's gambling on volatility contraction, but by nature of his standing, he dies twice as quickly if price moves against him into the down side, which essentially is one of the worst moves around, its as great as martingaling down with no chance of profits.

So I was thinking something a better way to handle this type of situation, it was instead of gambling only on volatility slump, and try to pocket volatility and time premium, a better method is to simply collar it, firstly to stop bleeding and this buys you time since the market moves around violently, you are not subjected to the same volatility swings which the markets throw about, say for instance, if you collar 1x put and 1x call 50pips broad, at most you lose that 50pips if things go real bad, if matters turn for the better, you make 50pips. The death battle situation is practically impossible, but today, you have bought yourself more time to figure out what to do with the situation, without a guillotine in your own head, except you have given up the chance to make alot of windfall profit, so you sealed your chance for death battle. This is the foundation.

Extending the thought process further, assume I would like to use the premium to cover myself I can market 1.6x call while buying 1x puts, which means im vulnerable, 0.6x uncovered calls. Same strikes, 50pips away strikes put, 50pips away strikes calls, which means today, I have premium * 0.6 advantage concerning volatility and time cash, so while the market tanks, I need pips to break even. However, if price goes back up into the 50pips call strikes, my spot is already in the money, at 50pips, as well as 0.6x uncovered, it can go another 83.3pips from my call strike in order to demone a first reduction. But before that happens, I can spiral in and buy 0.6x spot which covers the call into a totally covered call while sitting profits, and keep my typical price at 0.38 % from extended spot position 1 to extended spot position two, basically, the attack mo spiral. The sold call was designed to be specifically 1.6 in order to factor in the way to make the most of the units placed in vs typical price. From this point onwards its about how to flip this place into a box spread to lock in profits and perish at the money.

Next, assume we wish to perform better, we state we need to rescue, just how much can we raise the other without paying a premium, i.e solution must be from 1.0 to 1.6 variable? Also, we don't wish to keep using choices, but we would like to use spot to keep using rescue because spreads for alternatives are about 10pips to 15pips, very pricey. So, perhaps if we try 1.3 instead.

Situation 1, range bound or very low volatility
today, we have purchased 1.3x puts and marketed 1.6x call, so 3 scenarios, if volatility is reduced and price keeps hovering at our place's price, we can only take the premium and shut all, at expiry, or we can try to save with 0.3x troops and engineer slow escape within afew small campaigns. Essentially, we use 0.3 to save 0.2, fibo skew, at that point, we've got 0.8 troops indoors, puts still at 1.3x and we've got 0.5 to mobilize again to save 0.3, then taking them out again, and continue doing that until we have rescued all we can simply do it until we a no way to drop situation, shut out the 0.3x premium, and let it ride, all the way, you get a free lottery ticket that's loss less.

Situation 2, powerful up throw, our place is long, which is technically a whipsaw
if rather price goes all the way up past our 50pip call attack, we buy 0.6 and are wholly delta hedged, and we're now in the cash, and have profits, but we still don't have any method to profit more, so we look to box our position up, by writing synthetic spread to change it into a box spread, or approximate it.

Situation 3, a powerful tendency change, on the daily against us, risk tenure if very high, if detected, publiion is vulnerable to unnecessarily large risk.
In this case, if price keeps pushing us against, say 100, 200 or 300pips, we're automatically in the cash, we can only shut all and reserve the profits.
However if you are still game, you can keep doing rescue with 0.3 as per the way we mentioned previously in situation 1, and also the position till fulfilled. So what happens is that you are essentially delta neutralizing your portfolio, but key is that, the e allows you to squeeze even more profits from your delta neutralizing of the portfolio as price gyrates and swings down and up since you perform your rescues. Say if price goes down 100pips, you've got whatever loss from spot 50pips*0.3 from the puts plus whatever profits from the call, and when that occurs, and you also do the e to save your spot exposure, you delta neutralize your portfolio, and also whatever pips you again in your spot exposure, you lose in your puts. So you are kind of constantly profiting 1 hands and shedding another, the key then becomes that your e and legging into rescue and eliminating troopers is your source of profits.

All the while when this is happening, you are ensuring you don't get into the death battle situation, hence, you have decorrelated the market's volatility and sigma with respect to your portfolio pl.

Below is your simulation of the way the pl resembles for the synthetic position

edit: the new screenshots ought to be the right one, the preceding one has incorrect ratios

yes, if I understood that this could be achieved it was a major eye opener into the world of money management for me, of course I'm also using my 'market feeling' that I have developed over the years to help with entries.

Not certain if trades exactly like this, but I really do believe this isn't that far away from stuff he does, since I state the gap being trading it on multiple pairs not just one as I am revealing, trying to show this over multiple pairs would be too confusing and would take up too much of my time managing it in demo and I am not willing to show figures on live stuff to anybody, that is why I chose the simplest method was to do so in a single pair at a time, the trader man from london I met a few weeks ago also trades at a similar method to this and that is why I decided to pay the money management side of things today in my diary like I never truly knew if I was doing it right until that point or if a few long streak of luck was involved and I did not wish to fool anyone down wrong/dead paths how follow this stuff I am revealing here.

What actually enabled me to get to grips with this way of managing money was playing it at the online DEMO blackjack and roulette games (I don't gamble at all, unless for pleasure on holiday sometimes), I used these to help understand how I could manipulate money to my advantage in a random market/outcome situation, the trick is to level the playing area first to as close as 50/50 outcome with all the traders then use the money management working with the skews has revealed us again you will need to run up/down the skews and jump sections to keep the risk low as far as you can, maybe it may help others also understand it?? DO NOT DO IT LIVE. To get a #1 start skew you may need a # 12k demo account, you will be surprised how fast you can make 10%, only play for one hour at a time maximum or 10% this will also teach you discipline and control the 'greed' part within us all. If you're able to only find #1k accounts (many are) just double the the account with the very first bet then start to use the money management.

Thanks, yes the shooting was good pleasure.

Hi Alex

great to hear you did not get caught out by this unscheduled news.

This is out and out manipulation, Draghi is talking again shortly so there was no reason to launch this today, I am sure another hour wouldn't of made any difference, do you see what they do, they caught out the daily split traders around the top of that flag I posted, if they'd waited to mention this in an hour when news was planned most would probably have taken profits (or part profits), so that they spiked it to kill the stops, then I bet that the slippage was enormous, this is precisely why we cannot depend on ceases and pending orders.

plete standstill, more folks jump on. And why don't you? At this point, linking
the fun is easy. Zero work is needed, for people wanting
to combine the audience no longer have to run to leap on board. But the nature
of the bandwagon is to proceed forward. Its motionless state is unnatural,
and so cannot last. It tries to move forwards again, but can't. The
audience, piled on back, is much too large. It must free itself of the hefty
burden. And it does. It immediately shifts to reverse, and jolts backward,
knocking some of the party animals off the trunk. The music ceases. Puz-
zled faces from the audience start to emerge. Before anybody figures out
what is happening, another backward jerk occurs, just this one is much more
violent. Another huge group of individuals gets thrown off the trunk. Now, re-
ality sets in. The fun has become a nightmare of epic proportions, and
panic begins to run uncontrolled. Some elect to jump to their deaths. An-
flip thrust backward sends an even bigger group of drunken, off-
balance individuals, hurling to the muddy ground. It doesn't stop. The jolts
backward persist, each successive one more violent than the past. At
this point, just a couple diehard wagon dwellers are holding on, their very
lives hanging in the balance by a very thin thread. Failing to be com-
pletely free, the bandwagon angrily puts the pedal to the metal, and this
final push backward is so barbarous that its front wheels lift high off the
floor, momentarily suspending the wagon in a perpendicular posi-
tion. The final of the hangers-on crash to the floor, broken and maimed
to no conclusion. At this point, a new group of onlookers emerge from the
neighboring woods. They are serene and clean. Each motion they create is
deliberate and ardently lively, for they didn't participate in the
tragedy that just transpired. Or did they? A few of the dejected souls ly-
ing on the floor take a closer look, a look that reveals something very
interesting. This apparently new group is not new in any way. It is precisely the same
group that was seen quietly exiting the party before it came to its barbarous
end. An even closer examination by a few more beaten-down onlookers
reveals something much more magnificent. This group not just exited the
bash early, they were the originators of it! ”My God,” someone exclaims.
Paralyzed, and unable to move freely, all these dejected spirits can do is
watch, as the masters of the sport head to work. No sooner does the
bandwagon's wheels hit the floor in this professional platoon bolts
for the wagon. In a flash they are on board. Easy. The bandwagon, today
with no bigger audience, can proceed freely and gracefully, com-
fortably carrying the more astute group with it. Its pace quickens, and
before long a smooth elegant stride is set up. After a few miles of unin-
terrupted motion, someone from this masterful group flips on a
change, and suddenly the loud noises of entertaining music start again.
Someone yells, ”OK everyone. Here they come. Let us do it.” Within
moments, those who had been the former victims of the backward crash be -
come interested again. The songs nearly calling them from the tomb.
And once more, the never-ending cycle repeats.

some basics of price action that I use... image image picture :the consolidation sideways may also mean continuation not mandatory a high or bottom change - that I always like FTI saying just bargain at a supply (or accumulation)

I enjoy patterns such as abcde or abc12-- abc pullback followed by wave DE or 12 that is a wave back in line with main trend. I am trying to provide pullbacks different names so that I know more about good and bad ones as much as I can

I had fun with eur long but the tearing was confusing for some time so I simply did quick in/outs for a little

Hi Alex

yes, I concur price might go either way following consolidation, that is the reason why I stated in the second image ' if price pushes through the last MPS suspect consolidation/rest period', the arrows are there showing the likely path after it pushes through the last two MPS lines as this may often mean we'll see a change after such a profound retrace.

The sooner we could recognise that price is going into consolidation or trend the quicker we could adapt our trading to match that condition.

We all use what we know there is no wrong or right way, I just tried to reveal the basic type of what I do if studying the P/A.

As says 'take what is useful to you and discard exactly what isn't'.

MM's had my buddy in the very low volume and very low news, that is why the motions were perplexing.

Lots of expectations for the current news on CAD is all about rates and also with Yellen's news.

Yesterday was little bizarre but trend won - I figured they were enjoying big time from the manner eur was being transferred.

Once the huge buyers and sellers are tussling like it could freak me out as even within the candles it is wilder than normal - but yesterday I handled it played with em - I noticed the sellers were being removed but the buyers were holding each single time and it made my nice abc 123 pattern too in pullback.

Hi Alex

I use the higher frames to 'look ahead' as I did in this trade, then read the 'currently' P/A for potential signs of a retrace in the bus stops (here it was the flag shirts etc), 1 thing I have learnt in all these years I've been in this really is 'ant's work' is best practice to maintain the account secure, like in AOW my army is far out weighed by what I am happening, so my MO is to take the current lower frame wave chiefly, attacking when their army is broken up beginning the transfer, I will then look for a different entry if condition persist in my favor on the retrace, I am not showing these additional entries with this demo as it might continue to much time but there's plenty of this kind of thing recorded in my past live transactions with the gray colored charts, if you look at the demo I've revealed of 21 trades along with the account is all about 4% so little and often does work, the more we hold the more 'risk' we take by simply being at the market, once the price stalls or retraces no one knows what it will do next before the new clues begin to emerge, for years I would constantly pull out of transactions way too early just managing to ch a small part of the leg/pump/wave or hold to long for it to retrace on me and need to recover or take a reduction, together with experience I got better at 'judging' the leg/wave, there aren't any rules I can give you to exit other than don't let the price turn into a profit trade into a reduction trade, each trade ought to be viewed as 'just another transaction' to increase the nest and protect the queen, we truly have to give up the return and rationalising why we didn't hold more or do this or that differently, we do what do and cause our own situation from this, the only way to deal with this is to manage our way from these things we create and do it using a 'best result' and 'by any means' mindset manner of believing.

The fundamental thing I do is trade the higher frames analysis but at the reduced frames to take each leg, not overstay my welcome and get crushed, to day's commerce was a good easy trade from an ideal loion/bus stop (bottom of the flags into the top at the frames that are higher).

no, I use daily atr to observe just how far the move has gone to gauge if worth starting a trade.

Another way I used atr was for only to demone the money management and the way it will if managed correctly produce its own profit.

How I am trading now is like my live material (but only using one pair), employing the buy/sell areas and momentum together with the 'read' in the greater frame charts.

I am attempting to show how to stem and test transactions, which necessitates mainly patients and control of risk till everything is ready/lines up in our favour.

I do think the concept of stopping the bleeding is very useful until price comes our way - say in super heavy PB that had great momentum another way - it could stop the bleeding until it turns back our way. I'm thinking of how to use it best so as not to kill.

Saxsel
12:48,
Hi Alex

distinct scenario require different action as you can see in the cases I have submitted.

The hardest part for us is getting over/learning to control the cognitive dissonance trading from yourself causes within us (holding two contradictory beliefs at once), it is explained in the video I posted.

Once the bleeding has been stopped that will inform you have a problem with your original assessment of the direction, in the point things must be completely re-assessed and you ought to be open to trading either way to create this profit, remember it is not always advisable to go for full recovery in one go, just flow with what the charts are telling you, even if you're in accore with the higher frames and there hasn't been any match changer occur then just gather rations in the enemy to feed/sustain your army, if you constantly think what's my 'best outcome' here and not about winning in just about any pair you will start to find out what you believe and what should be done are two distinct things, slowly your brain will take in these new requirements and it will eventually become 'internalised' as experience shows you it is the correct and better way to deal with what's thrown at us.

The formula is rather easy (it must be if I know it), if you're 10 unit long and 10 units short and the gap (disperse you created) is state 20pips you'll need to visit 20 more units to recuperate in roughly half that move/gap (not accurate maths here but I am sure that you get what I mean).

Understanding what I am showing here commerce shrewd with buy/sell areas/momentum/MPS/daily atr/ect helps us gauge the prospect of success to achieve that gap close.

Hey phil,

on thinking deeper, what the experiment you conducted, is interesting, and is it right to say that, everything you implemented is similar to how one would trade 's style with scout and attack only no rescues? For example, I deploy 1x scout, without the rescue skew, and attack skew of 1 x scout 1 x scout 1.2 x scout 1.2 x scout 1.2 x scout.

When on wind one might attack aggressively to make the bacon home plus recover previous scouting declines to sense market. However, if scout in trouble, an individual can simply retreat scout and install afterwards. So you may lose 1x scout for 2 to 3 times, then if 1 tendency manifests, you attack 2 to 3 degrees, and gain maybe 1 1.2 1.2, that is 4.4 units, which readily recovers the 2-3x scout loss when multiply by the ATR, 4.4 readily becomes 5x to 10x the 3x loss over 2 to 3 times.

When plotted out, the outcomes are similar to what richard dennis's turtle guide's results, strong risk reward ratio human loss is small and easily recoverable. Except for a difference in which, the pulsing the market mechanism differs when pulses the market that he tracks the market differently (but very powerful form of pulsing the market) from richard dennis's that is a strictly breakout egy. The kink in richard dennis's mo wasn't so much in his mm, but he only trades breakouts, so he may not be nimble enough when the market varies terrain. The major way richard dennis tracks terrain change from range to tendency was in monitoring volatility growth, but non-directional, as he does not enforce direction, he allow market show direction, then trade in the direction, and then when on wind, he attacks.

So in character, mm helps to provide you an edge, according to your experiment, but to optimize to full potential stems from the capability to pulse market, and utilize the mm in mix to pulsing the market.

Hi CookieMonsta

The first couple of transactions on that demo account (white charts) were all pre-placed rather than transferred pending orders at 1N or 0.5N in a spiral around the current price, I purposely used this rigid (turtle) way of trading/placing and not my market feel to purely show the results of money handling itself at a random market movement, all we do know about price is that it will proceed, this basic egy shows that if we handle the money to try to produce the profit and not combat the pair to try to produce a profit, it will happen simpler with the correct comprehension of how money functions, unlike other companies we are very fortunate in FX in that we're able to buy and sell something at the same time (at a variety of manners), effectively cancelling out/crystallising the loss of the awful product at any point we selected, this gives us far greater flexibility in being able to produce an overall profit as stated our occupation as traders is to produce a profit never win each battle.

From the demos following the experiment revealing how this is possible I started to trade using real touch and feel trading since I do in my live things, here scouts are very much expendable for the exact reasons you pointed out, I can lose 2 or 3 or even more in erroneously timed entrances and very easily produce a 5x/10x or more result and when my scout tells me the timing is correct I attack, this necessitates being able to take a fantastic reliable read of the today situation without fooling ourselves we are still correct when we obviously have bad timing, this predominant prejudice to continue and not miss out having something most of us have is partly due to self and partly due to how we are wired up to think/re-act (the movie I last posted explains all this), so I understand I trade differently to most and I understand why this is because I trade solely for the benefit and enhancement of my account by handling my money on the market not wanting to win everything I touch/do, I don't care where the market goes or what it really does, because a trader I want to control risk (this comes from many loions, such as me!) And make the best outcome I possibly could for the situations I put myself in, I've done all the wait and recover in only one direction item, that wastes time and is hard to execute the more it takes (AOW), time on the market is money at the end of the day and while still in healing it is hard to trade other opportunities that may emerge while still doing/thinking of a recovery so I only 'trade', I don't trade to win the last battle in each pair, I trade to produce profit on such journey by any means, the battle/trade endings when my last man is home and that's it no flags outside only onto the next battle, along how I forage on the enemies provides and do try to capture their men while at the same time adjusting my risk by offsetting my men against theirs where potential, most of the stuff is from AOW, what matters is your best result for my account (the state) not exactly what I want or think I must be doing, live and you've won, it is no good for us being a deceased hero... some transactions are simple (the correct and ready ones) and some take more time to conclude that's all.

What I am describing above requires an entire mindset change, a thing I think 's thread tries to make us view. . But to alter something we have to first know it, the money management itself is only one part of what is required to make this work for us by nature we are interferers in matters with a 'fight or flight' instinct, this has to be controlled and to accomplish that we must know exactly how and why we function how we do, then the self-reflection can let us fix ourselves needed.

As your last line countries. . To exploit the edge fully takes many skillsets to achieve it.

Phil.

thanks phil, I believe I gained additional insight into what is trying to edue us. The 3 primary components, mo (heartbeat of markets and ing), mm (what you revealed here, is mm a few ing), and mindset (risk control till chance arises). And I know where I will be lacking now also.

13:37,
Hi CookieMonsta

no issue, I happy that my diary could of helped you a bit my friend, but please remember I haven't any personal training from other than that which all can see on his thread, I haven't even exchanged a PM with him, so all is available and there for all to see, my diary is simply full of what I think his thread has edued me.

The reason I changed my diary from submitting my live account transactions to performing an open demo account is because after meeting a person some time ago who operates in London doing so for 30 years and is head of his team, I realised revealing entries just was probably not much assistance to anyone, he affirmed to me that I was pretty much doing the ideal things and I realised I really needed this affirmation, I guess others require this so hence what I am doing understand is completely open in the demo.

So once you concentrate on trading your own account/money just there are items which may help like the plot of the transactions and their curve, so this helped me build my trading egy and understand the money side of things, so ideally we would like to see a nice steady curve, if the curve flattens out for a while it means you are taking too many rest transactions and you need to have a closer look at what it is you're doing, frequently you spot a bias problem quite early doing so, if the curve is erratic you have messed up frequently by letting a badly timed commerce run off from you and failing to stop the bleeding quick enough, you account along with this plot won't lie to you even though you could be fooling yourself, use it as the spy within your camp to track your mindset, examine it and study it a bit closer monthly.

Below is the plot for the demo account I'm using now, the stats are there too but they're not that significant it's the curve on the chart we need to concern ourselves with.

Below that is my plot for one more account for this past year, in this you can see my mindset has been pretty steady and in a fantastic place all year, this is because I watch this and do what's required if there is problem I see developing in it.

Hello no issue, I glad that my journal may of helped you out a bit my friend, but please remember I have no personal training from other than what all can see on his own thread, I have not even exchanged a PM with him, therefore all is open and there for all to see, my journal is just filled with what I believe his thread has taught me. The main reason I changed my journal from posting my live account trades to performing an open demo account is because after fulfilling someone a while ago who works in London doing this for 30 decades and is head of his... Hello Phil,

Impressive outcomes.

I am interested though, for the live account, do you own a pull on the plug number? Just like when you reduce losses to protect the account.

Hi CookieMonsta

As my friend but please look at the curve and what it tells you along the way not exactly what I achieved.

No, no rigid figure to cut or do anything on, I utilize the now situation to manage only, that isn't to say I don't cut a loss trade, you can see a few in my curve above, should I get caught out by some unexpected news which produces a huge move I may cut all or some, trading like this will look after itself once you get used to it, I'm very strict about not allowing the price turn and run me on, no greed only take the leg facing me and proceed be it 1 or 100 pips, I don't care what it will then as long since I got any crumbs, most of the time that it is ants work taking little and often to build that nest and guard the queen.

The reverse trade (when needed) protects the account should you avoid the riskier trading practices, this in effect may be reversed lots of occasions with the price move but it is best practice to cancel whenever possible to lower/recalculate the skew as I have shown in the subsequent demo transactions, note I'm trading small to 10k account, there is a fantastic reason for it. . In the experiment you could see the numbers can escalate.

Phil.

thanks to your answer.

I see, you prevent it from hitting you really tough, dead in the paths directly in the first place, that is you don't let the damage get out of hand that it turns into a handful to recuperate from, but simply cut loss and reinstate later to recoup the position. Easier to recover from a little loss than it is out of a huge loss. Along with the winners takes good care of themselves.

Hi

I agree out and out sourcing for hedging sake and no real well practiced and rehearsed attack/recovery egy using good money management and market see egy may easily kill you (the double edge sword thing), the articles above you are referring to was when I remember correctly a dialogue with CookieMonsta about the use of options and synthetics he was/is exploring to accomplish this by producing the hedge from the outset, has cautioned against the use of long sword for retail many times.

So let's take the conventional presented 3k's (u/j, e/u and g/u), if you are trading these entirely then you are basically just trading the USD constantly however in/over the 3 pairs, carrying this further you can do this with almost any currency but like anything you have to understand these pairs work together and their connection, like anything this method of trading is just another tool to utilize when needed, the large players use the currency they are trading within several pairs frequently to hide/disguise what they are up to, if we are able to track this then we might get a few more crumbs that fall off their table, it is not hedging/recovery it is learning how to make the most out of our money management together with the available flow of market to people.

I also agree about the babel thing we're most likely trying to say/show the exact same or very similar items, it is just our language and culture differences appears to present them differently making it harder for each of us to understand without even raising questions about how/why each is doing what they are.

What I am trying to show here in the present time is how money can be worked/manipulated to some degree in our favour ( a component of trading which is I think is very overlooked by most) and I am purposely doing this in my thread/journal so as to not interfere with 's thread in case I'm wrong in anything I do or say, when is around posting he can quickly fix any mistake we might post on his own thread, I'm always quite apparent my thread/journal is separate from the TAF thread and what I reveal is my interpretation of the things I have learnt from around.

If I remember correctly you exchange the DAX mainly, some thing I did lose sight of a little in our discussions on the TAF thread (so my questions there) but that's a completely different situation/set upward and manner of trading than with FX currencies, to get a beginning with the DAX that you get a centralised accurate volume should you look in the ideal place.

Bottom line is....... If our bottom line is showing a fantastic outcome then we're on the ideal track.

Hi CookieMonsta

ideally you will read this shortly. . Sorry to relay. .

I am not going to talk much about what I am doing/showing here in the TAF thread, that is 's ribbon and without him around to fix us I will not post stuff I have not seen or discussed with him over there, what I am doing may or might not be right here and here way it not is misleading on his aims for his thread.

Why it is challenging to trade like this is because it interferes with the cognitive dissonance within our mind, do not know if you've watched that video I posted a short while ago on the mind and quantum physics but it does describe it in there fairly well I found and understanding it help us put some control over it.

Once I said 'I also found that', I meant, I went through what you explained and needed to work out why (mostly the aforementioned comment... ie holding two conflicting beliefs at once... trading from oneself), since you state it should be used when needed rather than as a starting point for at trade, our 'organic' trading beginning should be to take a profit from your first pair we trade if it gets past the scout stage (scouts are expendable remember), the rotation into the third and second pairs should be an outcome only of what has/is happening within the others, it is a tool to be used when the situation calls for it, which in my experience shouldn't be to often when/if the scouting is done as it should be, it is there in my opinion purely to stop the bleeding while I come up with another egy through another opportunity that the market provides to cancel the gap I created, the whole goal/mindset I use is to with the exception of the scouts is to try always book an 'overall set' using a profit 'by any means'.

Our sole occupation as traders is to create a profit and protect our account whilst trying to do so we have to control the risks we create for ourselves while waiting for the timing to be right to create that objective.

Practising in demo is the way I learnt from and started to know this.... But it does take a while for the mind to deal with the cognitive dissonance this generates.

Phil.

Hello hopefully you'll read this shortly. . Sorry to relay however. . I will not talk much about what I am doing/showing here in the TAF thread, that's 's thread and without him about to correct us I won't post stuff I haven't seen or discussed myself with him around, what I am doing may or might not be right here and here either way it not is misleading on his aims for his thread. The main reason it is hard to trade this is because it interferes with the cognitive dissonance within our mind, don't know if you have watched... Hello Phil, stage mentioned regarding not causing people to a different course, will heed this advice and not detract from the thread.

Ah, I'm not very sure about the cognitive dissonance part. As I see that if I initiate a scout, I see , let's say eurusd is up, I move long, and it feels like USD is strengthening, but eurusd principal trend is up. But currently, eurusd is down, so is gbpusd, these are facts. So although the I'm interested in a very long eurusd, felt just like dollar reinforcing I do believe it is temporary, until more information is available to me, is pushing down them, so although I'm bias up, but reality nevertheless remains, pa is ro3k suggests USD could be alyst, so I rotate to extended eurgbp by shorting gbpusd. Although it's my opinion, it does not have any bearing on the markets. That's why I could be brief and long at precisely the same time I guess.

I'm not sure whether this way of viewing the markets is wrong or right just maybe, it's a way I see the markets, the form of the markets has occasionally clear tendencies in each way, occasionally unclear.

For example for the very long eurusd, I felt like if price kept moving up and mm is struck on their shorts, they could move the crosses to rotate into a different pair, like yesterday, eurusd, I believe eurusd was struck long, movement was by both eur and USD, provided by how usdjpy moved brief. And today, there is gbpusd major fundamentals, also I was wondering if gbpusd is not adjusting considerably with EUR and USD moving just like that, therefore on a glance of this cross eurgbp, I saw they getting ready up a move, so maybe mm is trying to make gbpusd to a tight range, and take another hand, and bogged down quickly, rather than allow it to fashion, so they may be impartial by Thursday. So we have eurusd moving up, along with eurgbp moving up, and gbpusd was in a tight congestive range. My guess is mm is trying to maneuver eurgbp in accord with eurusd, and gbpusd is kept the same, so that they transferred the cross rather than moving the gbpusd, which felt like something heavy was weighting on it and preventing it from moving in accord with eurusd and usdjpy.

That can be partially because I felt perhaps, when trump occurred, the markets appear to have been taken over by EUR GBP and jpy and AUD nzd and cad. The brexit in addition to the oil problems, appears to be a major driver, also with fed still not clear on the rate increase, it seems just like the crosses have a nicer flow compared to the majors. That is just my sense of the terrain and ro3k fundamentals, I could be incorrect.

Partly also, when Alex and indianguyvinny, said about the markets motion shing, it felt like, and I concur with them, that markets flow feels very odd like they have sudden spurts then slows down alot and few slow directional motion, then sudden spurts again and on occasion the market only push 1 point without quitting, the market used to pullback more, today it seems very different. I wonder whether it's since more hft have entered the markets. The problem with hft is that, when markets are in regular states, it provides alot of money, however if the market hits something, they just step away as well as swallowing much needed liquidity and suddenly, you have a liquidity void. In the past with individual traders, it wasn't much of a problem, those guys have the ability and discretion to help provide the liquidity the market requirements, but with hft, it's a different deal too, these robots will choose the liquidity exactly once you want it the most.

I have no data to substantiate the above, only my gut sense, that is all. So I'm learning to see how I can exchange the 3 legged animal to mitigate this. Either that or my ability to pulse the market needs more work. But that is only my opinion, it could be incorrect. Therefore for my.own function, I'm focusing on the read of the markets, but studying the 3 legged animal would also enhance my skills will always be on my list too.

I guess maybe I'm deviating much from another thread, I guess I'm on my mo here, therefore I will not be posting much on the other thread in order not to detract.

Hi Cookie Monsta

Thanks for your Comprehension my friend.

I'm not questioning what/how you traded at all, most of us have our own methods of carrying out that activity, but understanding how we operate (as we appear to exchange likewise at times) actually helped me take control over the heads reaction to what I'm doing here, the mind is crude when compared with our new world we live in today, our day to day actions have dramatically transformed over a very short time period and the mind hasn't had time to grab up/develop for this, from my basic understanding that the brain is basically in two parts, one component is keeping a set of safe protocols for us to function off/with most of the time (this can be the primitive side), the other part is assessing and trying to get the crude part to accept new ideas/ways of doing things (this is the component that allows us to build), there is a constant battle between these two sides to set a new status quo to our survival MO, the main/only job of the brain is to prevent us from harm/death and that is where the problem begins in our new world. Money has gotten food, shelter, comfort, ect, our brain is very protective of this because of fact, that makes it hard to exchange it alone, once we buy something we physically see the thing we've exchanged our cash for and this produces less of an issue for us to accept but in this all we see is figures and drawdown (cash at risk), therefore trading from our personal money (if we have to) is very hard for your brain to accept because deep down you know one side is going to have some loss now (the crude side does not like/accept this very nicely), this creates the cognitive dissonance of holding two conflicting beliefs in precisely the exact same time, for me personally understanding this helped me reevaluate when my brain was attempting to override what I should do against what its belief was for my best chance of survival ( ie. . Protecting/preserving my cash), we only experience the now so that the brain has trouble managing the manner we must use money as a tool for potential enhancement. It needs understanding and demoning (practicing) this is not against our survival.

You have added a quite a bit to your last article while I was writing this, I concur with a lot of what you are saying and you are very welcome to discuss/post about this here and that I will reply with my own personal experience of those things but the above is a very important role if you want to open/train to exchange like this if it be through options or solely in the place market.

Phil.

Hello Phil,

I would be interested in discussing the post with you.

I don't take it since you questioning me about how I trade. I personally feel it is appropriate for me to put down how I think in order for people to first find common ground prior to a discussion can be carried out, it is sort of to put bear my thinking process so that you might understand where I am coming from.

From talks with other traders not from FF, I have understood that, different people perceive differently the markets and from time to time, they also hold assumptions which has taught us is untrue, especially when talking to platform styled mechanical traders. Occasionally it's unsaid by them, or us and in fact we would both have different understanding of the subjects and come out with various decisions without knowing why and kept arguing about various things when in fact it is precisely the identical thought in different wording and lingo, that's all.

That's why I typically type the above concerning my thinking process and how I perceive price action.

Will get digesting to a post soon, once I get off work.

Hi CookieMonsta

no problem, will talk later when you're ready.

Hi Alex

that is the 2 parts fighting against each other you're experiencing, today you're knowing about it you will have more control/influence over it.

We can get a hard run against us at any time trading at whatever 1,3 or 5 pairs, the trick is not to build up to a lot of a trade bias in any one currency at any time, this means we must attempt to always make the most of this situation we find ourselves in rather than be greedy or fearful of missing out, adjusting the risk continuously as you view it at the today is extremely valuable to the survival and eventual profit of this account and since you say size traded/per account is really a big element.

My method of trading and the ideas I use is as you know quite linked to AOW... has provided the fundamental tools and training to do the job and taught me the way to consider myself at a tactical and egic method to achieve the end goal.... profit.

7. It is only one who is thoroughly familiar with the evils of war that can thoroughly understand the professional#64257;table manner of carrying it out on.
8. The skillful soldier does not raise a second levy, neither are his supply wagons loaded more than double.
9. Bring war material with you from home, but forage on the enemy. Thus the army will have food enough for its own needs.
10. Poverty of the State exchequer causes an army to be maintained by contributions from a distance. Contributing to maintain an army at a distance causes the people to be impoverished.
11. On the other hand, the proximity of an army causes prices to go up; and high prices cause the individuals substance to be drained away.
12. When their substance is drained away, the peasantry will be af#64258;icted by heavy exactions.
13. With this loss of substance and exhaustion of strength, the homes of the people will be stripped bare, and also three-tenths of their income will be dissipated; while government expenses for broken chariots, drained horses, breast-plates and helmets, bows and arrows, spears and shields, protective mantles,draught-oxen and heavy wagons, will amount to four tenths of its earnings.
14. Hence a wise general makes a point of foraging on the enemy. 1 cartload of the enemys provisions is equivalent to twenty of ones own, and like wise a single picul of his provender is equivalent to twenty from ones own store.
15. Now in order to kill the enemy, our men must be roused to anger.

So simply to make sure I knew what you said right, am I right to say that, when you said cognitive dissonance, you meant being able to simultaneously trade on both the long and short side of the markets in precisely the same time? That is two contradictory and in fact complete opposite view in precisely the same time.

Saxsel
04:41,
Hi CookieMonsta

yes, you're activating/messing with the areas of the brain which have a group belief system which prevents you from harm, have you not noticed the feeling it creates when trading from another one of your transactions be it at precisely the exact same pair or one currency over multiple pairs, its just like trying something new which has a component of danger/possible loss/harm in the activity, initially you're reluctant to get it done and you feel something holding you back but since you can do it longer (show your brain its ok) the easier it is to do it, if you do not understand what is happening then you will fight to continue to do it and finally avoid it, due to what cash is becoming to us we've got this exact same reaction to it the brain requires training to see that it's ok to do it when needed, though the feeling and reaction could only be dampened down from my experience, should you know this is happening then we could exercise some control over it.

The brain has difficulty accepting new ideas that go contrary to its embedded belief system that it has made for us to help us endure over centuries, I know it all sounds really dramatic because we no longer live in a dangerous situation the majority of the time nowadays but a part of brain hasn't caught up with our massive change in circumstances yet, thus the difficulty people have trading generally and also the huge failure rate in it.

Because states 'don't marry your transactions', he also spoke about attachment to things.

Hello Phil,

I have experienced this, some things, when trying to employ the cut and reverse as indied at taf ribbon, however it sounds I am simply not able to perform it, where as for the above method you mentioned about the rotating of positions, it definitely feels more natural for me.

But I definitely have felt it about the cut and reverse. That's why I chosen the rotation in comparison to the cut and reverse, and also my personal preference for this, and diverging from the taf mo for 1 pair exchanged. Sometimes I reverse once, reverse twice and wrong, I just discovered that the rotation method has yield far better results in comparison to turning and cutting, at least for myself.

Saxsel
05:00,
Hi CookieMonsta

I also find the cut and reverse the hardest part, I guess it generates the maximum quantity of battle between the faces of the mind.

What I am doing here at the moment is attempting to demone that money may be used as a tool and how to try to go around the things that get in our way of properly using it as a tool, this means we need to take some detachment from it, that they only way to do that's to prove to ourselves that it may if used properly not place us in too much risk of loss, everybody should find their personal way to exchange there are no do this here and that there as I'm sure that you know, the market moves are never known in advance, therefore I have learnt to only trade at the now, since you see my analysis only really uses the current action in every time period, as you properly highlighted earlier everyone sees things differently and at different times, that's because time is relative (but that's another whole story in itself) and that's part of why the moves do not happen how or when we anticipate a lot of this time.

Phil.

Hi Phil, consented.

That is exactly what has been teaching us all the time I believe, to trade marked to now.

The detachment component is truly the most difficult part to get around, and it also probably is exactly why trend riding is rather hard.

Am I correct in that what you're showing is mm trade management, and let the results take care of themselves?

Saxsel
05:20,
Hello CookieMonsta

the tendency riding is hard in my opinion because we can see the profit and don't need to provide any back (the brain protecting us from loss again), just to throw a second thought/idea out there, what I have revealed with stopping the bleeding could be reversed to lock in profit, and then you can add on additional momentum and choose the reverse lock out shortly after (with a few extra profit) and let I run again, if it completely reverses you have your profit in the lock commerce when you remove both.

Yes, MM commerce management=survival and profits come when prepared.

Hi the tendency riding is hard in my opinion because we can observe the profit and don't want to provide any back (the mind protecting us from loss again), simply to throw a second thought/idea on the market, exactly what I have revealed with stopping the bleeding could be reversed to lock in profit, then you can add on additional momentum and take the reverse lock out soon after (with a few excess profit) and let's operate again, in case it completely reverses you still have your profit from the lock commerce when you eliminate both. Yes, MM commerce management=success and profits... Hi Phil, agreed about the tendency riding part.

Also I feel the way that your mo goes, is the best way to trade and what I prefer to employ also. Though there is just 1 more subtle point, which sort of I think is exactly what is strongest within your mo, is that, in case in unfavourable conditions, you can shield publiion and come out ahead, in good times, you're gonna perform superb. I understood this regarding being able to manage position well in tough scenarios and coming out ahead. And since I also come to the decision that, the spreading of position provides a 2nd egic alternative in contrast to simply turning and cutting or rescuing in 1 pair, that's the reason why I personally think your method is rather strong. Partly the reason why I kept pushing myself to trade curve balls, if I could handle those I really could become stronger as a trader.

That is also why I am adopting it also.

As for why it's 3, if you take a look at 's post above regarding hedging, stated there is only 1 way to save publiion, and it's the 3 legged animal. And if you know how to e 1 pair, you know how to replie 3 pairs, the rest is the relationship of the 3 pairs. I have been researching to it since, or at least that was my interpretation of that post. 2 animal is dead publiion.

Some thoughts ....

Considering what I do/have shown and have learnt out of , is we form ideas/assumptions through the analysis we perform about the market and charts, this is normal we all need something to give us a direction (or do we??) , the ending of the analysis should never be married too as if it should occur, thoughts are okay but reality rules daily and will kill our account when we don't listen to the next back up egy 'examine' your thought (the scout), what should be handled in the today situation we put (make for) ourselves in, no one really know where the price goes next so the ideal mindset to have would be that we've got a 50/50 chance of being correct with every entry we make, so enjoy tossing a coin the more appropriate entries we make the nearer we're being wrong, that is why I try to input in the 'rest period' to grab another 'pump' move...... but nothing beats just plain and simple money handling your way into a profit and not worrying about being wrong or right to meet our self, commerce to our account's benefit not our own wants and needs, the higher purpose if you like maybe that is why posted a lot of those movie's and quotes?? Understand we're only ant's and might readily get crushed without anybody noticing or caring in this market we have decided to take on.

Hi my friend hope you're well.

The other day I went with scout but then price went although the higher time frame long wave was tact - so to stop the bleeding I went another way and regained all the earth profits. However, if I'd closed down the lengthy when its wave was shot I would have made more profit.

However, I do understand that FTI talks in thread about sustaining scouts for quite a while if it's in the wrong for the time being.

When do you think there's value in closing the scout versus leaving it stopping the bleeding when you have powerful move another way.

Hi Alex

I'm good thanks.

A profit is a profit my buddy, which is our sole job as traders, you'll see ways of stretching the profits as you become more comfortable trading such as that.

Personally I don't return after I have reserved a 'set' to the account it is merely on with the remainder of the job for that trade or look for a new one.

When a news event grabs you out or you get dragged into one that is very important for example you exchanged into a rate change which was unexpected (shouldn't trade into those anyway) then just kill it if its against you, it'll be the unexpected/unscheduled ones that ch us out like natural or man made disasters like the Japanese tsunami or a single country threatening another (though this is dependent one the countries size etc), together with the CAD oil is a big mover of their currency, there are just many factors for each currency so the importance to the item that led to the first move has to be weighed up to make the choice, also we finally have the 'imitation' twitter news ect to manage, these are usually short live rubber ring moves as are frequently not fact.

Hi Alex

I feel what does when he ches a tendency move is leave a number of this trade in and continues to add on the new legs and then leave some in all the way up/down additionally to ch the longer term movements, I am not that good, I will ch two possibly three limbs in a row, so I have done that leaving something but I just can't get comfy with it.

Also remember our ability to pace a fashion top or underside very much depends on our capitalisation and I am pretty sure our friend had a big one (well he's always revealing 'rooster' picture). .lol.

Hi Alex I feel what does when he grabs a trend move is leave a number of the trade in and proceeds to add on the new legs and then leave some in all the way up/down to also capture the longer term movements, I am not so great, I can ch two maybe three legs in a row, I have done that leaving some in thing but I just can't get comfortable with it. Also remember our ability to pace a trend top or bottom very much depends upon our capitalisation and I am fairly certain our buddy had a big one (well he is constantly revealing 'rooster' image). .lol.... I agree I feel that is exactly what he does and it keeps him about the trend side also.

We are all different and if profits grow then who cares. We have to be true to self.

My issue remains when my scout is incorrect why not kill him immediately when my m5 wave/trend is blown off - even though higher time period wave could be large and be great - yet FTI/AOW state we could sustain scouts by feeding on enemy - but if you kill him then more profit and we could re-enter him afterwards as hurt but not dead- so that I still wonder why render him losing position. Can it be because even though wave pulled out it might be a sweep and then bounce back into h1 trend - but how can we tell a sweep out of a real blown wave? These are the items that I ponder. How do we understand the rebound will also happen?

Hi Alex

a profit is a profit large or little, that is our job as traders... most of the time it is 'ants' job and sometimes we are fortunate enough to hit a fantastic run when all we've done is right and prepared to be us along with the market.

I see what you're asking today, momentum, can it be rebounding from a key level? , I like to mention has it turned on a landmine (and been blown away in the new high/low it only touched), this may often show with a game changer bar being formed but as with everything it isn't 100% for certain till it's happened... 'return fire'... it's a guess'timation game which develops over time.

You've seen if I have a indulged in just I will without hesitation kill it as soon as the wave in the lower frame is taken out against me , then as you say I may have yet another go at a re-position if in line with H1 but should instant scout is taken out also I give up as I am definitely wrong in my direction/trade thought.

Thanks so much - absolutely answered my query and that is my decision too - even though it turns back into my direction with momentum then I can get back again. I do not mean of course I will kill my scout in abc pull back - do you kill and get back on C wave?

Following my wave is removed if price pulls back a bit I will kill scout here to decrease loss a bit.

Thanks my friend - have a fantastic weekend.

I have given up studying the waves like this for today, it worked well a few years ago for me but with this thinner less explosive market we've now I am only using the previous wave in H1, so long as the top/bottom is not removed I'll reevaluate if the lower frame shows some momentum or indiion of being in my direction away a high/low generally.

quote Hi Phil... well voiced, my buddy. More ore less exactly what I attempted to demone with my participation on TAF... but with infrequent success. LOL That is my Fundamental Rule n1... rigid rule with elastic consequences. (and I am still there... sometimes even more inflexible in my scratching trades) Hi my friend - do you mean you are rigid in that you go only with past h1 tide - whatever the price does eg state you get very powerful reversals in other direction to h1 last tide. I've observed a lot of pinbar fails and double shirt and 1 wave brief that took out prior wave but long trend only resumed again on my eurusd too so accurate reversals are tough.

I enjoy D1/h1/m5 stating same to me - but I've minimised harm by going other manner in eurusd m5 to sustain my scout until the lengthy run starts again - that was for a reason and RoK adapting and m5 fad was powerful enough. I have also tested strength of eurusd shorts with small scouts to feel how weak bears were and durability of bulls. Am I wrong - I don't know I had my eye on the prize however.

Believe the peeps who didn't agree eurusd D1 was have learnt a lesson from market....

I always got what you were saying trend/trend/trend....up into peeps what they do with it

Also if we are learning from FTI thread it's sometimes difficult to know which way to decide on our own ideas because of nature of thread and mix of viewpoints - peeps will learn from market too - but it's great if others come on line (like your self and Phil ) and give great advice to keep us on the straight path.

Was wondering what to pay next? I will do some trades today using the tick info (mt4#8217;s fake quantity), one very import thing to understand is this NOT quantity it's tick data move count, therefore it's recording activity of each pub, there's NO true central volume data available in FX, if thought of how it's really (pub tick activity) it is a lot easier to connect to the pub and chart as we view it, because of this we must understand how the MM#8217;s and big boys play with the sport and in which the stop/orders may be as I've previously shown, also an comprehension of the dynamics of #8216;an equal and opposite force#8217; just as in the theory of the #8216;regulation of movement#8217; can also be required.

First thing first, my findings on this particular tick data material are #8230;

It's limited to no use for me personally on reduced time frames.
D1 and H1 may be helpful with help for directional signs but have to be traded nude in M15/5.
It holds no clue whatsoever on how long the move may last, it must be assessed bar by bar.
It is no holy grail a different tool for possible signs during low/no news trading occasions.

I will also have the three pub hip/lop action here today, just like most things you will find hip/lop formations and you will find far better hip/lop formations, I will be looking at those and attempting to pick the better ones for a few trades today.

So the very first possible trade is under and must be abandoned due to new events altering the current situation and terrain read.

Hello thank you for your kind words on my trading but I am sure I am just about typical atm. I also noted that said there are means so that it never busts of shielding book this is exactly what lead me down this route to investigate the way possible? Have I discovered it? I don't know but it works well for me so why try to fix something that isn't broken. regards Phil. Hi phil, no probs, and its kind of you to discuss what one to too.

Yes, I have been researching along this route, which has also directed me into the rotation method and also choices, because occasionally, the pair tears too, and the collar alternative mo exhibited can be utilized to shield book.

There's something I understood about delta neutral hedging from classic textbook, its already been priced into the option already, but really there is an way to handle it if a person is long volatility, I don't stick to the main stream suggested delta neutralizing manner, mainly because 's e, save and attack already variables in the volatility, and will converge on the current volatility quicker than using a version for assessing if the position should be delta neutral or not and what is the hedge ratio. That has been my insight into the deficiency of current delta hedging mo. the mm itself functions using choices fairly well. That has been my insight into options trading.

This is just my understanding/intepretation of the 3legged animal, if you're long 1 eurusd and short 1 gbpusd, you're long 1 eurgbp, so in the event that you go short 1.6x eurgbp, you're squared 1.0, implemented a lock with a loss/gain and have gone short 0.6 eurgbp, and you can invert this on the fly by changing the ratios of every place. The foundation subsequently becomes to incorporate the fibo mm into it so as not to expand the publiion's risk too fast. Subsequently its to incorporate the e into the rotation.

Hello CookieMonsta

it's been years since I touched options, I used to trade straddles and strangles in making season on the stock markets (with limited success... not enough funds!) , I do understand what you saying about your usage of these over 3 pairs, I have found that we don't necessarily require the three pair, 2 work nicely in the event that you concentrate on a single currency, I enter state AUD using A/U G/A (equally scouts short or long) and just add to the winning one, I also find it helpful to trade the retraces from the other sometimes as scenario allows/presents.

I don't begin a trade with the intention of employing the 3rd leg, for me personally it's there as back up if actually wanted, I try to stay to a single currency the majority of the time, though I may have few currency transactions going at any 1 time, I would and frequently just offset a profit transaction against a loss to produce an entire set which provide me a profit, that's precisely why my trade/profit curve shows as it will.

Hello it has been years since I touched options, I used to trade straddles and strangles in making season in the stock markets (with limited success... insufficient capital!) , I do understand what you saying about your usage of these over 3 pairs, I have discovered that we do not always require the 3 pair, two work well if you concentrate on one currency, I enter say AUD utilizing A/U G/A (equally scouts short or long) and only increase the winning one, I find it useful to trade the retraces from the other at times as situation allows/presents.... Hi phil,

about the 3 pairs, I do agree, that when one is profitable in 1 pair there might not be a point in using two pair, if 2pair is doing well, there is no purpose in visiting 3pairs, all depends on the e, and what is required in order to safeguard publiion. Unless of course one is using the pairs all for profits purpose then it is justified in using all 3 pairs.

I do not believe that simply trading straddles and strangles comes with a border against the market, as has said, the secret is in how much you pay for volatility premium. Think about what he's alluding to when he states when trading options are trading the volatility I have discovered. He'd mentioned a book by dr sheldon natenberg and I have gotten the publiion, its rather interesting, since how he exchanged to replie cash flow to get a put options utilizing the delta neutral hedging method, replied actual realized volatility, thus basically, the difference was that he seen the difference between the theoretical value of the choice and seen the implied volatility is significantly lower than the theoretical price, and later he chased it using the delta neutral mo, he needed another but close enough worth to his choices theoretical model. I have seen interviews of the guy, he's a market maker, I believe his mo in choices is what is mentioning, yet another clue is also that, said options trading is germs level function, looking at the repliion, the capital put in is alot more than what he obtained which perhaps points to this has a huge chance that this is what is talking about. When you examine the collection of alterations, the e can refines the way it is completed. Fti also mentioned that to e long sword, short sword ability is needed, possibly for this purpose possibly for identifying areas that were great to enter the option position.

Hello CookieMonsta

when I exchanged choices I needed access to a program that scanned the market for the cheap or miss-priced options, but even having that the returns where low to your investment laid out.

As you know I do not exchange them now, just place market but in an unconventional manner through egic management of all the elements that I try to constantly adjust to my advantage, as claims survival is what matters and the only rules are 1. Shield capital two. Shield capital 3. Do not forget 2 and rules 1.

Watched the videos thanks, it will seem he saying basically the exact same thing as , no one knows where price goes, so the only alternative left is to adjust to the risk we produce as the move/s takes place in an effort to produce that profit from any means. People forget that the market is un-tradable for a number of reasons.

AOW...

Thus do many calculations lead to victory, and few calculations to defeat: how much more no calculation at all! It is by attention to this point I can foresee who's likely to lose or win.

As I said at the start of the trade I purposely allow this trade get into trouble.... I made my circumstance.

BUT.... . So learn to deal with it as economically as 17, departure is part of warfare.

As you see here I booked profits with every 'set of trades', the trick here is to not be greedy and just reserve 100% profits all of the time, as soon as a transaction does not do precisely what you expected and produce its 'natural' profit in a transfer in your favour, we must go into a 'reduce risk' mindset manner of trading, since you can see it's still a profitable method of trading but it requires a lot more work in the money management side of things, some trades are easy and some are more complex to produce the sole goal we should all seek as traders profit.

When faced with a scenario that gives some profit I attempt to always lessen the lower trades which have the most drawdown, the rule of thumb is if you decrease the trades under your ordinary price it gives you a greater overall average price closer to the currently price, should you reduce trades above your ordinary price then you truly make things harder to regain as the typical price moves farther away from the currently price.

Only for reference....
One thing I am noting doing this demonion and just revealing what I do with a single pair is it's truly somewhat harder and takes longer to bring these more complex trades to a conclusion, as I have explained and said I'd use different pairs to do so but I can't think of a way to show this without it interfering too much with my live things, but perhaps I will attempt to show some shortly??

Saxsel

NFP appears to have altered the game as seen from the compressed H1 charts on majors and crosses, here we can clearly see what each currency (not pair) is performing which can be cluttered and that can be trending, the match changer bars/moves clearly stand out and we all can see some USD pairs at which really leading the way from a couple of days ago.

ADDED...

for anybody who browse the seasonal alterations PDF they might have observed the relation in what is happening today and what is from the record, we (people) tend to do many things in cycles should you consider it, did touch on this in thread, just consider what you do and when you do it, it's in a routine/cycle generally to ensure routine/cycle should be more noticeable spread over a wider expanse of individuals and there are a lot of folks trading #8230;. This occurs with no people noticing #8216;the cycle#8217; they are in not a 100% tradable accurate thing each single time worthy of taking note of as yet another clue.

May I ask in the final upthrust long when you'd 1/8/5 in short and it upthrust long - you didn't think of moving with it long back to zone - lot of buying in there?

Hi Alex

what I was doing consistently was decreasing risk at every opportunity that has been introduced, I did not add at potential occasions when news was due, I allowed the price/situation dictate when I included, if was to just 'let it run' without studying the today and known future events ahead (news, time of year/seasonal modifiion, larger image, etc) then it's very dangerous to exchange such as this, did state there are times it could be a benefit to exchange both ways (if he would approve of what I am doing I am uncertain), the daily price was in/going into rest/consolidation this is when said it could hold an edge to exchange this manner, for me it work nicely but have a lot of practice doing this and everything I do is geared up a big against me, I find it easier to control/adjust to as the sizes get larger, the chance to decrease risk/exposure is granted greater flexibility to do the alterations needed.

I'm not suggesting anyone else deals such as this, I am only showing what is possible with the correct management.... Their mm plan can be formulated by others from something It is this before trying it live for anyone interested in this area/part of 22, for quite a long time.

Funny.. I was taking to somebody over weekend that started trading about year ago, he's making all of the classic mistakes most of us make when we first start outside, he was very shocked to hear how I trade as well as my perspectives as they were in complete contrast to what he has learnt so far, I ended up trying to describe it like this, the herd 95% commerce fairly much the mainstream manners that are out there and also the suggested failure rate is 95%, at the other 5 percent it stated that 4% breakeven or only make a little every year so they must be doing something different to others, therefore the 1% that are said to make the most money has to be doing something radically different.

I also had to tell him there is not any 'holy grail' way to trade.

Hello Alex

Yes, fx quantity isn't centralised and from the broker you are trading with just, sometimes the spikes and lows can help but they can also mis-lead as they did here due to it not being a true film, only wanted to pay this a little to demone that, since you see I dropped it after a little while.

You are right to pick me up on this, it isn't something I use frequently but do now and again (when I am bored I guess thinking about it). Really thinking back when I started this trade I wasn't very well and the doctors were messing about with my mediion (again) so maybe that had any impact on my thought process as well.

I've shown exactly what I wanted to with the quantity and will not post anymore on broker quantity.

It really helped me by going wrong as it did since I had been wondering how I could post/show a profound recovery.

I've discovered using the currency index's a much better way to evaluate the amount of trading in each currency, although these are charts they give us an 'overall' image of what's going on in each currency without needing to watch all the crosses all the time.

In the article below is the usage of the index's for/with which trade.

Hi Thanks, it was intriguing battle I think#8230;. . The time that it takes is a issue. Hi Alex Yes, fx quantity isn't centralised and from the broker you are trading with only, sometimes the spikes and lows can help but they can also mis-lead because they did here due to it not being a genuine picture, only wanted to cover this a bit to demone that, as you see that I dropped it after a while. You are right to pick me up with this, It isn't something I use regularly but do again and now (once I am bored I think thinking about it). Really thinking... Hi Phil, really, I guess in a sense 3 weeks is not feasible if I have to pay bills depending upon the account.

You could make use of the futures market quantity, if you are interested in using quantity, because of futures spot arbitrage, so the actions by the arbitrage guys should be similar. Is ro3k, if ro3k goes into sync, it may indie a decent amount of quantity, because of synchronize the USD pairs, signifies attack by market, and may mean delta in buy sell liquidity.

As for indices additionally, it functions, but is determined by if it is centralised.

I realized that, said to redlion or another user(???) Was that, if he first enter market for the day, he seem at ro3k to view terrain, this makes me wonder, actually, does the attack and rescue and cut and reverse have something to do with ro3k heading in sync or out of sync.

That's, Fti's rescue is completed when market appears like retrace, or ro3k not in sync showing choppy market, and attack once ro3k in sync and same way, if ro3k in sync but contrary to his positions, he flip and cut. His attack and rescue is on point because of his feel for terrain and pa, therefore hint to the read of ro3k is alot deeper? Just imagining. Primarily because to cut and reverse will lose price advantage if that is so, if ro3k is in inline, can capitalize on their in transit terrain that might generate strong swing, and do the trim and reverse.

Hi Ray

Good to see you again, you know me constantly attempting to make the best out a situation.

Hi CookieMonsta

Yes, that's where the dilemma is in long drawn out conflict, the distribution chain weakens as more time decays and nothing/little is won/conquered.

The volume thing I have used the futures stuff some times and sometimes it works fine and others not so good, I should not try to fix things which are not broken actually#8230; but sometimes a slight change assists get me back on track.

Trading the 3K#8217;s is trading the market wheel (USD), when they line up that is the reason why we get a good move, a couple of years ago the 3K#8217;s worked extremely well and would line up a lot longer than they do today, also todays market moves are not any where near the amount they used to maneuver, for me making it more difficult to ch the odd bigger move without trying out some new stuff and being available to each currency instead of relying only on the 3K#8217;s liner up or not, the USD is losing its monopoly in the market nowadays too and not everything is changed/exchanged through that medium just now.

I enjoy watching the index #8217;s under, they give me clues to each currency and you can see at a glance which one/s are driving the current move. ( I know I have shown you this and gave the connection).

What are you searching for to help determine this?

I think what happens depends on if you can find real orders there if We're running lengthy and take out a high:when there are no real buy orders above it then big men are getting in at discount eg duck hunt and we ought to see strong selling - it will reverse tendency if there are real buy orders above it keeps running for longer we should watch no interest in selling if large men are taking some profit then it will consolidate and we shall wait and see what comes alongside ie long run back again when they become interested in buying again at discount Alex

Hi Alex

no problem my friend.

I didn't trade E/U above, I just indied it as I would of traded it if I had been watching it.

When you look at the daily chart you will see two hips recently formed at about the same level, personally I would not be needing to trade from these setups.

regards

Phil.

Excellent and Comprehensive thread. Thank you for sharing phil13.

Along the lines of trading diary, I'm currently searching for a good trade journal. It seems you have a lot of expertise, do you get a recommendation of a diary spreadsheet or -software to use?

Merry x-mas everyone!

Hi NasyPips

thank you for your kind words about my thread and welcome as this is your initial post, wishing you well in trading and life, you're very welcome to stop from here whenever you need and will (if I can) attempt to answer anything you ask.

Bare charts is the best thing to use mainly, use things such as dow concept as a base for your 'read' of this management, do analysis at the greater time frames and also scale in on the lower frames from/with that analysis is the best basis I have found to use, test with scouts for leadership then hit them riding each wave of this move, experimentation in presentation with various forms and ways of manipulating money management in your favour and don't be afraid of trying out your own ideas with this in demo to get a feel of how money can work in your favour, like journal/threads I have read a lot of them on here and some have some good ways of doing things however their manner may not be right for you I have found, take what's helpful to you in your own trading and discard the rest for the time being, also I suggest looking into how and why we function as individual from an electro-chemical perspective, this will allow you more control on what you should do rather than what your mind is telling you to do, this can be a large portion of trading and no one can teach this because we're all distinct emotionally and re-actively.

That the one thread I learnt the most from and really helped me was 's thread, it is tough going at first but it is exactly what caused me as a trader.

oh... rather than pay anybody anything to do with learning about this or system along with e/a's ect, they sell mainly because they cannot trade and prey about the new unsuspecting keen to find individuals, all can be available online for free you just need to not believe all you read with out appropriate testing yourself out first.

Long, looong, loooooonnng battle this one.... Still not finished and launched 13 2017 decided to place what I have done thus far as just a tiny left to and that I might have wait a little while before continuing on this U/J trade.

So this started off as trade to try and reveal something and began to go wrong, I tried an effort to undo recover at first then I decided to let it run against me to show a traditional deep recovery/rescue, as I have not shown any of these and well I do bang on that I am well practiced to recover from 1000 -- 1500 pips from me, therefore as I spoke it I thought I need to show the walk as well, most of it is all about patients and timing whilst scaling up/down the charts.

Just because I can do so it does not mean that I should always do so, most of the time that it isn't money/time effective to do so, but I think it is a fantastic tool to get under our belt, so this is the reason why I have shown additional thoughts on ways to recover that can often be far faster to bring a trade to a finish, I remember being reside years ago being stuck using these types of rescue/recovery they really affect you mentally and do nothing of any great help to the year end result.

Here it is over 33 charts below......

cont' from article above... cont' in post below.... I believed FTI told us that volume data was not good enough so curious to see you're using it. I believe that the spikes may tell us a lot but not certain.

I believe on the h1 pullback short after spike up long on h1 showed that downward movement had no sign interest and volume only rose when we got to encourage showing most likely some buying.

Thanks for charts.

a thought my friend....when you'd the 1 and 5 in short on m15: m15 was at uptrend price ran up into range and made HLsActions: price took out some ducks reaction: price pulled back to retest service as bears had a move outcome: long attack: mini L H H HL and interior that we'd bull attack of bears: within bar fakey afterward long: so here you might have reversed or place in a very long trade to pay the shorts: think this is what talks about who is attacking and where Just some ideas

Thanks for posting your charts

Hi Alex

With no doubt it was a pre-emptive strike on my part and the p/a was up, the end from the news needs to of attracted this down but some surprising news was released shortly after hence the mess up and why I only added carefully at first on account of the p/a, how transactions differs from how I trade mostly in our time scales of trade, I must let more time for my own transactions to develop, the M1/M5 scalping trading isn't for me I have found, that is why I use bigger time frames so my transactions are slower and I'm very familiar with this as is using how he transactions I dare say, there's no wrong or right way to do this, every one of us must live or die by the decisions we make.

Great to see you around again, was wondering what happened to you, glad to see it was a holiday.

Phil.
