I am currently using the demonion MT4 variation while I have my account with CMS. I'll be closing my account shortly with CMS and transferring it to FXDD after I'm comfortable with the platform and MT4. My trading may be put on hold for a month or so in this transition. I always tell myelf that the markets are not going anywhere. I began going through the MT4 PDF'Lesson Plan' and I am looking forward to posting some'things' returning the favor. So far as autotrading with MT4, are the vulnerabilities which CMS' VT has as far as relationship interference, server problems,. . .with the chance of getting an'vulnerable' open position (no stop loss), also apparent with MT4? I've been running both platforms for about a week and CMS (live account) has gone down twice with a link error window open although the FXDD MT4 platform was flawless. There might have been a disturbance with the FXDD but it looks as though the reconnect was instantaneous. I do feel a lot more comfortable with the MT4 platform. I don't know why I went with VT in the first loion. The capability to only close out a trade in the close of a pub (system-wise) is pretty much useless. Either way, back to EA's on MT. If I have an EA running which enters a buy or sell order which has a stop and limit order configured with it, the buy order is triggered, electricity goes out for x quantity of time without the stop or limit being hit, am I to presume that the order is exposed without a stop or limit order pending around the FXDD side?
