Thread: Please suggest a simple and effective Method/System of quotTrading Systemquot Forum to newbie

    Dear Friends in FF,

I have read threads of 5 stars trading egys and methods form Trading Method Forums of FF, however, sure systems have over 3 indiors and a number of them are new to me, eg. Vages tubing and sidus. (I traded stocks know only conventional TA indiors, such as MACD, Stoch., MAs, William%R, RSI, in addition to the concept of triple-timeframes)

Can any friends imply a comparatively straightforward but effective method/system from Trading System Fourm to a newbie, such as me. It's wise for this particular method/system to have less then 3 conventional indiors and less then 3 timeframes.

Due to full of fruion in present and past jobs, I am eager to learn and exchange for a living (not for wealthy ).

    Thanks a lot Beforehand.

    Hey Religion,

Before entering the whole system research/tweaking phase, spend some time studying tendencies. Not how to trade the trend, or trend-following system or whatnot, JUST study outlined charts and the basics behind a wholesome trend.

Recognizing trends is Vital for trading. Until you moreless understand that, I'd avoid wasting time with systems. It is like trying to understand how to drive before understanding what the wheel and also the gear-stick are for.

Understanding trends is CRUCIAL for trading. Until you moreless know that, I'd avoid wasting time with progr. It's like trying to understand to drive before understanding what the wheel and also the gear-stick are for.
    Dear Hector,

    Thanks you for your recommendation.

Trends is very important. Traders should exchange at the direction of the market tide and take advantage of the waves but ignore the ripples. (from p.236 of the book Trading for a Living)

    Religion,

I believe, it all begins with your goal. . .what would you want to realize?

second. . .what EXACTLY do you want to do?

What market terms, installation, price action patterns, time-of-day charateristics, market tendencies do you wish to exploit?

If you've discovered, you can design you platform around this

    Buy the following pairs
    EURUSD
    GBPUSD
    USDCHF
    USDJPY

Sometime during the next trading day, your account will show a profit. CLose all transactions, bank the profit, and begin again. You will have drawdowns, however you'll also have profits. Hang in with the drawdowns. They will not get too big since this is merely a dollar hedge.

Might want to take a look. 1 indior, 1 timeframe.
    Good luck!

That is pretty-much a no-brainer system (just what I need!) . For you bhale does it work?

I am not 100% keen about the system, because it seems to me it would just be a play on the carry trade against the (EURJPY, GBPJPY, EURCHF and GBPCHF). Provided that the JPY and CHF are feeble, you're going to be in fantastic shape.

As far as closing and starting over, also does not make sense. Unless you wait around for a pull-back or you are buying at a specific time of day every day (in essence dollar-cost-averaging), then it is pointless. . .you're simply paying the spread for no good reason.

It's difficult to argue, however, as long as the JPY and CHF stay weak, you are in pretty good shape.

I can't argue with your logic; but in the past 30 minutes (I've got a little down-time), I've backtested this concept, buying NY close and selling 24 hours after, day-after-day, and the results have me shocking.... You and I are not novice traders, but I can't dispute the results using Daily charts....huh?
