Thread: Daily Yen Scalping

  1. #1
This is my very first trade journal after a lengthy period on FF. I've learn a lot over the last year and a half and feel like I've finally reached a place where it's well worth starting one of those items.

I owe a lot of my latest progress to man, who's unfortunately relegated into the industrial forum and will not have the ability to post .

Also this thread might be better labelled intraday yen scalping, as daily could be misleading. I really do my analysis on many timeframes Dailies/H1/M15/M5/M1 and input on M5/M1/10sec.

Still another scalp... 7.9 pips woo!

I feel as though I'm overly attentive. The trade blew out to 27 pips only 4 minutes after I exited. ARGH.

Notice: Entry is vertical red line, depart is red X.

    Thanks Slack.

Here's my very first trade of the day, and also my very first live trade for a long long time. I am only playing 1,000 unit sizes in the moment to ease myself back to putting real money at stake. So that equate to a risk of around $1. High positions, I understand.

But I made 9 pips off this entrance. I was somewhat cautious as there had been quite a long uptrend over the previous couple of hours.

Looks like a ideal entrance and exit to me... nice job. Wish my final trade was that pretty.

BTW, what's your SL; fixed or?

    Thank You Slack!

My SL is 10 pips disperse, as per rules. I see the transaction very closely with my finger over the button ready to shut at the first sign of trouble. I believe that's very important when playing with an unpredictable pair such as GBPJPY.

Right-on! I do exactly the same thing; ready to depart should momentum really slow down.

Still another transaction. Not overly pleased with this one, but bagged 8.5 pips yet. Part of me wanted me to lose this transaction so that I would learn a lesson. Hopefully I'll remember not to jump in too fast next time!

Trading day complete in 25.4 pips.

    No reduction.

    Now off to my night-shift

Interesting things. Keep up the good work.

You said Stratman's rules. What are they, or mind sharing a connection where they can be found?
