Thread: Changing account history trade line color on MT4 chart

Okay.. .here's likely a dumb question.
You'd think after using MT4 these years I'd know this by now. But I've searched google and can not find anything.

So into account history, you can drag your closed trades to the chart, either individually or all at once. My question is how can you alter the default colour on the trade line.
On some platforms it's one color, on the others, something different. Depending on my chart history, at times it's hard to see. I will of course double click and then edit every line but I'd like to alter the default colour.

It is not correlated to any of the colours in my chart. . .such as grid colour, etc.. Nor does this alter if I manually change the current trendline default colour.

Look forward to hearing any ideas.

Employ this indior for your chart.

Set the color for your lines.

Drag your trades onto the chart as you normally would and they will automatically take the color you selected.

Change: indior will also change the color of transaction lines you have previously dragged onto the chart.

Yes exactly, the dashed line. I would think that it's default too except I have it showing different colors on two different brokers that doesn't make much sense.

I'll give it a try. Wish there was a method without having an external indior.

Do you mean the dashed line between the 2 arrows (open/close of the place )?

If I'm not mistaken, this is a MT4 default colour with no option to modify.
