Let's try something else then. . MT4 instances do you operate?
I'm thinking something is messed up in C:\Users\planet\AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Termina l
Now you may attempt to copy and paste a new case MT4 glue your mql4 and ex4 to the new AppData termianl MQL4 directory and try again!

had been modifying/debugging an indior that I downloaded off the Internet now and I added a bad #property directive because the indior was not doing what it was supposed to do, so it did not attach after it compiled successfully!!!

I moved back and commented that the line an recompiled then it attached. . Still does not do its task but it attaches. .

I thought I'd offer this hint. . It could help. .

The yellow circle means the MQL4 origin code is present in the indiors folder. . Try to compile the code and try again...
