Thread: Is This The Best MA Cross?

Thank you for such a beautiful and simple system!

When you say wait for price to break both lines do you wait for the candle to close until you buy or sell?

Thank you for your compliment. With the trend break I do not wait for the candle to close, no I enter, sometimes the candle can proceed 10 points and you've lost the trade. I did nine trades , yesterday and was 5-4 up 13 pips for the afternoon. I'd 6 eur/usd, 3 gbp/usd, and one very shaky chf/usd. I kick itself because 2 trades were in profit and I chose to let them operate and they then moved and struck my stop loss. If I'd closed them at 0 I would have been up 33 pips. If I'd closed them in any sort of profit I would have been closer. I violated one of my own rules and that is: After a trade creates a profit, never take a loss on it. I must have taken the 5 and I was going for 15 points and I would have had a real nice day. But I made a profit.

I understand, so I will not wait for the candle.

Yes, significant but difficult to adhere to the principles, even one's own....

Sent you a PM as in one way we're neighbors.

Ok this is my simplest template, sometimes I put in a stochastic to check overbought and oversold and sometimes I add pivot points to ascertain my take profits when I need to leave. However, this is the template in its simplest form.

The previous frame had the pic and pivot points indior. This is the template to the second pict. I use MACD's signal line and 2 sto. If white and blue cross and agrees with arrow input. When blue crosses back on the snowy or Gold depart. When white is above gold uptrend. When white is below gold downtrend. Hope this helps and doesnt overcomplie things.

I took only 3 transactions today because I was occupied with contracts and a new building for my school. 2 winners 1 loser for 5 stage profit.

Below are the views of the usd/jpy I've now. I am considering buying jpy at 106.85 or maybe at 106.95

is that a valid trade according to the principles?

Or am I too late and missed the commerce.

The arrow on the 5 min is about or does that occur as a result of retracement and we wait for price to grow again?
