Thread: $5k to infinite

    Great morning!

    Review

The FED yesterday did not alter their rate as expected but even did not alter their tone much a bit. They gave a sign to the market that the rates will remain low for a longer period. The Dollar obtained sold instantly but has got back a earth over night. We'll see if that will be a sustainable item or it's just profit taking. The stock markets did not respond that far and it seems like they get a bit out of steam.

    Analysis

Nothing new. Now the ECB must step in and might talk again about a solid Dollar. But without the FED at the background that there is not so much they could do any Euro strength. Since Germany really seems to come out of recession (I mean it really looks great here in Germany) they might begin a little more hawkish words. But of course they know that this will fire the Euro into the moon. So it's a bit difficult for them. I expect that the rate to be unchanged for some more time.

Another question again is when this trip into the security of US treasuries will have an end and we see a return to the fundamentals which would imply: great US news: Dollar stocks up up.

    Strategy

Again nothing new. Dip buying if it goes.

Yes. I shut some places if they're in profit and let others operate. It depends.

I just wanted to say how inspirational your threads are found by me. I wish you the very best of luck with this new project -- though I'm positive it's going to be back up to 20 odd million in virtually no time.

However, I am curious know one thing: Do you use multiple time frames? I guessed that you're deciding on the management of the market on a longer timeframe and then loing potential entries on a short time period?

I'm probably completely off track! As I said, I'm new here. (I will use that excuse for a couple of years).

Generally yes. I search for entries in the hourly chart near supports and often use resistances as target and vice versa. Thus no rocket science here. I give my trade plenty of room to breath.

Weekly and daily charts reveal the direction. Important to me personally are shutting levels therefore a fracture of a resistance does not signify that a trend did change. It has to shut below/above...

    Good morning!

Only a short one today. I'm very exhausted and have a cold. Dow is up over 10000 again and I think that it will not stop here.

Nowadays everyone examines the NFP that will be better I guess however manipulated as usual. Euro may eye higher 1.49 levels. That's my plan so nothing to do just to wait. If it dips I buy.
