Thread: EA - quotSimple Method of Scalping on 5 min chart , especially GBP/JPY - by Imran Saitquot

    Hi guys,

I'm running this ea on ej for a couple hours, but ithas yet to take a trade. I detect that macd/stock/pivot etc all state sell or buy signal, except lag that's continuously saying No Signal, though I could see that there is a signal.

Anybody notice that, or am I doing something incorrect? Be great if somebody could also put in it and a tp.

    Regards

No problem I could add pop-up box alternative, also close alert as alternative. I utilize this EA quite frequently as alert, so close alert is beneficial and clearly EA has no notion that I have trades opened manually.

It gave you 26pips SL because I researched SL as SL spread, which is indied in procedure description.
    I can add TP value.

I will do it in some free time, which hopefully is tommorow

Update: I've coded all of your suggestions. I am not sure if it works well I haven't got time to try it out.
    Changes:
Added TakeProfit and UseTakeProfit parameters - in case UseTakeProfit is false utilizes regular TP levels as described in 1st post. If collections TP into TakeProfit parameter.
Added ShowPopWindows parameter - if false pop-up windows wont't open, includes close commerce. Sound alarm is obviously busy

Update: version 1.23 uploaded, appears to function well.

Download upgraded version in 1st post.

Macd/stock/pivot will always show theirs standing. It is normal. To have buy or sell signal all them plus laguerre must match.
Do you have screen with that circumstance? Without that its impossible to estimate.

    Djanowski,

    Great stuff. Justa few remarks:
    1. Pivots. These can differ depending upon your broker. Likely plotted at several values for different platforms, which will make a difference.
I had been part of the skype group of traders trading that this egy many months past. Among the traders there, yas1r, was hugely successful with all the egy, altho' he'd tweaked it a bit and made it his very own. Fundamental principles were the same, he included a mtf dimension, therefore would seem to the lags on tf's for direction. Might it be feasible to add in a condition on fast lag looking at incline each hour, therefore just short trades if lag that is rapid is lower than previous hour. I know this worked for yas1r.
Also took off rebounds off the 60/200 ma's. Anyhow, most people didn't always pay attention to the rule pivots, ie price above pivot just long etc..
Therefore it might be an idea to just add a switch, true or false, to the pivot, to add/remove it in the signal.
Also to program an offset inside to allow for broker time gaps. The former should be easier.
    2. Next time, I will save the chart and post it where I think that it should have obtained a commerce dependant about the lag position, and it did not.

    Thanks for your effort.

Thank you Daniel, for your job. I just recently discovered about the Laguerre System and your EA. Been studying it and enjoy what I see. Finally some profit direction would be nice. Like following 10 pips, take some and then proceed stop to break even. Of course so we could check to find the settings that are best, these would have to be adjustable.

Do you mean to search for affirmation on quick lag on H1 chart? At direction? What about long trades?

Hmm interesting idea, I could attempt to include it is it only requirement for entrance? What about exit?

Therefore it may be an idea to simply put in a switch, false or true, into the pivot, to add/remove it in the sign.
Done! Model 1.24 in 1st post. After quick testing I think that if UsePivotsForEntry is false then it's far better to allow EA transactions just on new candle opening place TradeOnNewBar - .

Kevin: You are able to use TrailingStop option.
