Thread: Regaring metatrader 4

Hey guys. . I was only going thru Vegas's tutorial on Foreign Exchange. . And he mentioned metatrader 4 which was free. . So I downloaded it. . I just wanted to know. . Unlike many other servcices its free. . But can we use it with any broker?? I mean. . I'm signed up using fxsol.com. . They provide a charting service . . But can I use the charting agency on metatrader 4 and place trades based on tht on fxsol.com? I hope u get my query. . Are the charts offered by every serivce uniform for Foreign Exchange?? thanx a lot. .

If you mean will you put trades via metatrader with any broker, then no you cannot do that, but if you mean can you use the datafeed from metatrader 4 to base your choices on and put a trade on you brokers platform, then the feeds are generally fairly near one another, unless you are scalping, it should be nice and is a really common practice.

thanx a lot guys. . just one more question. . How come it is Because it has an amazing charting software bundle. . And normally firms charge 200 dollars per month to get tht. . ??

MetaQuotes makes their money by charging brokers on the host side of things. They have reached critical mass in this point to where a broker could not charge for it. Plus, the whole industry is moving toward providing complimentary charting within their platform.

No, you have to use a broker that supports MT4.
