Thread: FXDD disaster

  1. #1
I've been back and forth for the past two weeks with FXDD about everything from prolonged requotes, which hang on and on and on while the price nevertheless moves, without sign, to shut orders which show shut. . .and the profit kept running. Tonight I went to get a drink of water and then came back. It was still running with all the closed order window upward.

Now I cut them slack because I use satellite internet and I really do lose signal from time to time. I don't whine about that...I take whatever comes from it.

However.... I've lost cash from a definate server issue and they do have a host issue. Server 4. They confessed it tonight. It took and drove me nuts. IBFX is also used by me. They are not my close. It closes. When I click order. . .it's placed. I could go on and on...I will not.

    I have a decent size account. . .not 100k although not 1000.00

I've been blamed, my computer blamed, my mom blamed and my dog. I'm pissed. So is my dog.

They don't have any reason good enough to not accept me.

I've plenty of money to fund the account am probably more liquid than 90% of the general population, Own my own business, hardly any debt and this is not good enough...
    wow wtf, that's really weird.

Not really. Market Makers don't like traders to become overly good. They might take from the CEO's slush fund.

ECN largest weakness is becoming filled... as far as I hate to admit it I chose to return to IBFX. While they are not the best at least I know what to expect.

Had no problems whatsoever and they got my cable with in hours and I am back . What is probably even more ironic is that Citi is likely one of the Liquidity Providers.

The FX pool of LP's is only so big on this big hard stone we call EARTH.

In the meantime I'll believe others and even Citi when they were inclined to lose their foolish rhetoric.

I agree with you 100%. I am on IBFX right now. They're my other broker. I was astonished at the previous one they closed. The price was conducting. Click. . .done. They're like the sun coming up for orders. I signed up using pfg best now. Not sure I will bank it....still thinking. The demo has been fine....any ideas?

Merely to add...I've taken 15 scalps at IBFX about the 1min in the previous two days....some slow, a few running. None came as a requote. Not one! The runner hesitated. That's it. But that is not actually the problem. . .the real problem is a requote display that doesn't go away for an elongated time period.

The more I use IBFX the happier I'm...I didn't use them for a long moment.

I have been investing in the 1min and performing lots of scalps. I have yet to have one requote. I am up to 31 trades in the past couple of days....now granted....they do get a little for the grocery bill if it's moving. I despise in if it jumps. You definately will not receive your click price but, It's way better then a requote. . .especially for departure.

I am still weighing PFGbest (I signed up) or using my present account to drop some larger bucks.

The spreads are better afterward FXDD....especially G/U

Yeah I actually have no problem with IBFX, just the club that they belong to in dictating to me how I have to exchange.

I wish to understand why some traders choose market makers?
Don't they understand that banks, Financial Institutions, hedge funds, and Professional traders exchange Currency Market with ECN
