Because they never answer, and that I never got a feedback from anyone or seen it in any thread, anyone who trades the news together with IBFX cares to discuss just how wide he's seen that the spread onto euro and cable and also what is the average widen spread? And do they widen spreads on all news events or just US and UK?

During ISM yesterday nearly ALL the spreads went to 10pips. Only the way it goes.

For 5 month being with em, the most wonderful thing I ever experience is when following gbp-jpy moves 50 -100 pip up and down in less than an hour, suddenly it dropped 1 digit value (gap) for a couple of minutes, I think it is when jpy about to increase their rate... and carry trade is shaked....

I rarely place stop order, therefore, spread widening isn't too harmfull. .

I've had no issue, but I trade more duration.
Trading the news = Running with Scissors.

Thanks for all posters feedback till now but I know there is a lot of individuals using IBFX during news so that they gotta have any thought at least about besides US news. I mean come'on guys. You are not gonna eliminate the broker. They are known to possess this only edge of extending spread nothing. They do not care about identifying news traders.

apart from that, the spreads arent to bad in any way, and overall they're ok, not amazing.

Interbank has server problems even without the news.

Its better now that it was a month or two ago.

Before they beefed it up, it would occasionally take two or three minutes before it would take an order and it happened most of the time.

It happens occasionally, but not as it used to.

Interbankfx has variable disperse, has they stated on their website, usually they wide 8/10 pips on USD news, it is dependent on volatility.

Anyway, I use them for other operativity and all is fine.
I've another MT4 broker with fixed spread for news trading.

    Mate,

the lot sizes are only 10K for the mini and 100K for its standard. You may exchange several lots in the two to make your trade size any denomination around 0.1 of the lot you are trading.

Thus, if you exchange 2.4 mini lots, you are trading 24,000 in currency. If you exchange 2.4 standard lots, you are trading 240,000 in currency. Make sense?

Mind sharing that the broker is that offers a spread that is fixed during news trading?

FWIW I've an account with Interbank, and Don't Have Any complaints. In addition, I use Oanda and are very satisfied with them.

    Thanks,
