That is not the point, this difficulty has been continuing, any professional performance would have nipped this in the bud following the initial incident. Lucky it was not another SNB and London that is just open.Originally Posted by ;
Sorry for the mess, why don't you change to brokers such FreshForex, the problem of connections never appears. Sorry for the inconvenience!Originally Posted by ;
Who should be responsible for live server going down?
Actually, for this has to be liable broker, IT Department. But in the provide stipulates which the broker is not liable for the trader's profit, which he didn't get. So advice is to open accounts with a couple brokers that in the event of host from 1 broker you could make hedge orders from others.
Success in trading.
Ahhh! Reminds me of those 'old' days once I read posts like this. RETAIL FOREX (thats almost everyone on this site) is rigged. If you're lucky enough to win you have to find the profit from the 'broker'. This when you realize you have only been scammed(out of your profit). Your broker can say ANYTHING to steal your own profit (and principle). The Poster above is correct. DO NOT TRUST ANY BROKER WITH LARGE DEPOSIT!!!! All brokers are burglars to a degree.Originally Posted by ;
Well its not the old days, but the problems persist. What should you suggest as a solution, when I need to exchange and dont have large funds? You are aboslutely right, however I can't diversify one of 20 retail brokers , first because it gets way overcomplied and I will spend my entire day handling accounts instead of actually trading, and instant - I dont know if you will find really so much retail brokers which may be trusted with any cash now seriously? How can one go through a phase. Its way too gloomy to accept that I'll be actually getting out of this swamp.Originally Posted by ;
IC Markets is a great broker and it's just in the past couple of days that these problems have arisen. I rate them high compared to others. They published an excuse(see attachment).

Hopefully the exact same thing won't happen again in the future.
I would disagree. Great broker cant let traders helpless for more than 10 days with open transactions without management throughout economic releases.Originally Posted by ;
Each the broker promoters can come and bullshit us even more, anything changes. Downtime is 0% acceptable, maybe not 3 times zero. Letters and words do not return the risk imposed on the money of thousands of individuals and chances. Even if they pay the traders,which they would never do, it still does not turn back because you cannot reverse-engineer a complex proccess as the Currency Market market. I am not investing some dumb robot, I am trading with my thoughts, I might have wanted to make a decision which I couldnt perform because I didnt have any connection. They didnt have support! And we put real money ! The only thing that's acceptable to stop me is a collapse of my online connection. We are way into the 21st century and you will find techniques. Companies with much more affordable and unrisky providers are supplying support without exception, while a currency trading broker who has literally tens of millions under its cap can not get an chat support and can not manage their own online service? Seriously WTF ?! That's absurd and no person having a brain believes it. It is just an excuse to mess with traders. Next month around some major chances it might be the same, so they are going to post another excuse via the mailbox? And a few people dream for seven and six figure accounts with such intermediaries. I wish good luck ! But I am not buying this anymore.
