Yes, I can take down server through asian session, but come on, finally price has some volatility and servers are down. WTF. I have limit orders obtained when they were reside triggered. What happens now? If I shed, do I get a refund ?

It is not because volatility and it's not IC Markets actions to block servers, however it's annoying it occurs now. It is back.

precisely this. I had a pending order which will be triggered if the servers were not down. We had to manually shut that order who didnt triggered and input in a price.

But we're little fish anyhow, would be wasting time to speak to them about my 0.1 lot order. Move on guys.

    Change in Leverage- French Elections
    Dear Trader,

As You Might Be aware, the second round of the French presidential election will take place on Sunday 7th of May . Because it is viewed as a significant event, it is going to provide traders with improved chances, but also increased risk due to this event taking place over the weekend. There's high potential for extreme market volatility, especially for currency pairs loed in EUR .

    What does this mean?
High volatility is expected to be viewed in the financial markets during the weekend, prices could move a few hundred pips within a matter of minutes or seconds. Clients positions in EUR pairs should be careful and track any open positions.
    What should you do?
We recommend clients reduce exposure going into the weekend, especially on the EUR crosses.
In order to protect clients from adverse effects, IC Markets' risk management team has decided to make this leverage change because of changing market conditions, as follows:

These changes will be applied to all positions on Friday 5th May 00:00 server time (GMT 3) . They will remain in effect until Monday 8th 00:00 server time (GMT 3).

Spreads are likely to be exceptionally volatile and may widen during this age. Traders must know about those aspects that may affect hedged positions.

We'll carefully track market volatility and should there be some additional changes, we will contact you through email, MT4, or by changes on our website.

If you have any queries or require any assistance, please contact one of our support staff members through http://icmarkets.cmail19.com/t/d-l-krtdljd-cttdklltj-d/, email: , or telephone 61 (0)2 8014 4280.

    Kind regards,
    IC Markets Team
