Thread: Experiences with my brokers on updating my email address

  1. #1
    Hello men:
it has been quite some time... in Feb, Y2009 I began this thread looking for a forex cfd(stock futures) gold oil broker
    https://www.forexsoutheast.asia/gene...g-eur-jpy.html

I tried fxsol.australia which support cfd.... Fxcm.uk.cfd which support USOIL.... And a couple tiny brokers,,,, oanda-for GOLD, a *a-for futurescontract, fxo-for GOLD, respectively
I also checks with interactivebrokers and fxpr and delta but I did not deposit and trade.

A lot of things changed from then...
but I am pleased to find that the new emerging markets of cfd(stock futures)/gold/oil tradings are increasing nicely

recently I've a need to upgrade my regiion email with those brokers back in Y2009, as my long time personal webmail server is shutting off

so I began this thread to document the flow and process I go through
when I upgrade my regiion email address to new one... with/out withdrawing the money (where a wire-transfer would happen) and close the account.

My objective is to upgrade the enrollment email address with/out impacting passwd reset and most important of all... - financing. Let's see the results

the conversation has been straight and to the point, it says

visit login-myfxcm-contact info, update the email address and submit

I analyzed the passwd retrieval it was a success

and chat says the newly updated email address would serve the exact same as regiion email address punctually of financing

however it is a machine-automated procedure, I'm not quite sure if it actually serve 100 percent as regiion email address in time of financing. May test.

2nd was fxsol australia, I went there because it allow cfd(stock futures) and gold trading, in addition to forex.

The chat ensures I don't need to draw the cash if enroll email address changes, simply updating client sign info will be okey

below is a fairly complied and serious form, I want to fill in and sign it and fax or scan-and-email... pending regiion department manual procedure.

I believe fxsol procedure is most serious because there is sign and fax and manual procedure. Still approval.

Concerning the cash security in fxsol.aus and fxcm.uk

    1. Fxcm attempted to charge an inactive fee 50$ for no-trading accounts in Feb.2011,
and then I talked with them in Jan.2011, to see if I will withdraw before this, then they waived it... no tiny tricks after that.

Overall you need to be watching if you are not looking at Forexsoutheast.asia afterward I could be billed ... there is a Jason here inforexsoutheast.asiathat you could kick for fxcm...

    2. Fxsol.australia, nothing billed or altered in finance in account

nevertheless I do hear that fxsolutions is shutting down US entity and moving clients to forex.com... and fxcm is shing clients to fxcm.uk

we do understand the hedging substance affects broker income (X2 curiosity), however as long as broker play in an open and edued fashion, I have no concern as customer.

I also deposit small quantities of ~ 100$ in tiny cfd/gold/oil brokers as testing .... In fxo -for GOLD, oanda -for GOLD plus aa -for futures.

Overall I am most happy with oanda because it allow penny trading, you make a lot of mistakes at 1:1 leverage, losing only 2% of account per trading stop/loss.

Fxo also allow penny trading (micro account)

a *a allow all sorts of futures

my egy was to upgrade email address for oanda, and withdraw money for other two tiny brokers....

All 3 demands manual processing, will upgrade results in one week later.

    Hi Billye,

simply to clarify regarding inactivity charges, FXCM only charges these if an account has been dormant for an entire calendar year. By way of instance, you might have received a note in January of 2011, if your account was dormant for all of 2010.

Interesting thread I look forward to reading your future articles!

My plan was to update email address for oanda, and withdraw money for other 2 tiny brokers.... In one week later all processing, will update results.
That the oanda regiion email update was a success when I login to inspect now, see attachment... it is already updated based on my email to frontdesk.

However did not return to notify me by email as they generally did.
I was also conscious that they started a oanda.co.uk business. hmm....

Since I deposit through paypal, it seems that withdraw to my paypal deposit account is also simple. . .this sub-account is called something...

Actually after oanda manually procedure and updated my email address to new address, they really sent telling to new email address, which is why receive no notice from old email.
    So no problem now.
