They make profit with all the new rules? This is perplexing. Why can they do so?

I hope so also, however Dukascopy is Swiss so I do not think that they will buy in the madness.

As of Oct. 18 you will need to buy or lease a Ninjatrader license. It won't be free. Fallout in the new CFTC rules.

I simply do not understand how they could give us only 1 week to work this out. I will eliminate a lot of cash on long-term places I've built due to the new margin rules.

Is it appropriate that if my margin was 200:1 and now will be 50:1 that I have to come up with 4x times the margin I had with my open positions? So for instance, say I had one regular lot opened my margin was $200 but now it'll be $1000 for that standard lot?

That I just cannot believe they're only giving us a week....if it was a month that would be much more fair to us. But I suppose since we aren't institutional customers. What $@#%wits! I expect karma searches down them and therefore # ts on them!

    BTW...I never curse on forums. . .but I sensed it's a necessity!

Oh and I've got a UK account and it appears it's impacting all accounts that aren't institutional.

I agree. A 1 week notice to their customers does suck. I would have expected more from a reputable broker.

Additionally....how can they move global accounts to a US business. . .wouldn't they need to move the accounts to some business in precisely the exact same place as the first account....for instance, my UK account would have to be moved to another UK account?

I'm so angry. I just cannot believe them.

This would not be a problem if they would transfer my account to another broker in the UK. . .its the new crap in the US that is about up my entire world * to # 1.
