I must say that I have a lot more respect for FxPig and Kevin Mercko. I used to get an account there, however, when I found out about FxHOY I ran for the hills. He has not concealed from it, but addressed it honestly although to Kevin's.

Shit name for a broker!

Why would anybody choose a broker severe with such a name.

Agree that the name sucks. Another reason for not liking them. Again the spreads are way better than the standard name brokers I am now using.

Anyway, when the commission is around turn, they still OK, but not that exceptional. Of course is dependent upon what brokers you use currently, it is better then a lot out there with 3 pips fixed distribute on EU.

The regulation remains unclear, and I would suspect this NZ resolution is not equal to a UK or US regulator by much, if something arise.

This is not true, we conduct our own server. FXOPen is a liquidity provider within our MPA (officially ECN) feed, nothing more.

Appreciate the vibrant commentary. On the name...

It's different that is for certain, but it pokes fun in the conventional broker model in FX, and it is intended to be a bit controversial and ridiculous, which appears to be working.

The real story behind the name is intriguing, if you're interested to hear it let me know and I will post it. On our new website we utilize the PIG vision very openly to poke fun at the industry and in ourselves.

At the end its a branding tool.
