Well, what I understand is they have several divisions/departments/companies below the Alpari brand which aren't that much attached. If there are porblems elsewhere it doesn't mean there are issues for this broker. I might be wrong.

At the SNB event mid January 2015 that I wasn't involved in CHF transactions ( not even in any transactions that precise date).
    Living abroad outside EEC.
Claim transfered from KPMG to FSCS in time. (Thank you Neoxis)

They're one of the greater market makers.

I have a live account with them and they are quite excellent. Maybe not like Oanda, but anyway...

    Regards -

In 8 years I believe I used everyone LOL

Alpari UK started life as a spin off from the Russian Alpari they're the exact same crew running it loed in London for the UK model they're fully FSA regulated. Money in done by wire or UK online banking is basically next moment. A fax is required by out.

They currently have 5 live servers for reduny thats more then almost anyone else I know about retail so link is solid. I never had any downtime in the 5 weeks I been using them. Trades fill consistently within 4 minutes mostly 2 and 3 minutes according to my EA logs. Slips and requotes are very rare even major news I will scalp 30 seconds prior to and after hardly that will be allowed by anyone else.

Though they state spreads can vary I see it move always 2 pips euro solid. For financial FSA security and specialized stabilty I provide 9/10 to then.

I also give North Finance another live MT4 broker I utilize 8/10 technically the exact same but cash security is a bit dodgy in Cyprus. Again requotes are rare, 2 pip euro 99% of the time I did notice it change once. Requotes about 1 in 15 trades. NF will trade to lots they are not keen on scalping though. Account by wire or EGOLD they clear gold obligations in and OUT within hours.

Alpari UK today permit micro lots that 0.01 ideal for live testing of EA's without risking too much cash. According to their forum they're friendly!!
I would not take the pi$$ and proceed for 1 pip though but I do 5 to 20 pips and nobody complains.

Compared to the US mob these two MT4 brokers are the best I know. If you do not believe me then best of luck dealing with anyone loed in New Jersey.

If you're in the united kingdom and don't require a bot to trade then trade spreadbet rather as its taxation FREE. Igindex and the brother Igmarket will allow you to trade anything from house prices, oil gold into wheat and hogs. They are the biggest in the UK im told with liquidity financing to London Banks. From 2 pip euro place you won't ever see a slip and trade to 0.1 pip increment and you'll get filled at say 1.45674 euro. As its basically futures there's not any such thing as a bad fill on major news well not that I see it before in the 2 years I had an account with them but remember spot closes all places every evening and reopens. This is a shock in case you don't know its going to take place.
IGindex will let you trade binary bets up down ladders and standard options monthly and weekly. Trading options opens a whole new low risk systems and enables one to utilize options as they're supposed to be used in protecting inherent risk even in another account. Ie euro 14 days futures with long euro call choices.

For our US friends though I do not think it is possible to start a spreadbet account as its gambling and thus illegal for US and Alpari UK might not let US accounts you need to assess yourself.

Thanks for the Info. I have never attempted Alpari, but may be interested.
