Hello Alternative guru , thx for the advice , im just about to start trading options with Ig index options , I live in the united kingdom .
I got a lot of trouble find a proper broker in the us. , as TDameritade doesn't accept clients from the eu schwab does with optionxpress and analyzed their account and found it rather expensive. I m analyzing ig options now and I m doing in presentation however im a bit worry which I read in various forums. When I started my acccount I needed a lot of questions and they were helpful , also no issue with whitdrawal my money .

Any experience to share with ig (options) would be appreciated.

IG isn't bad but doesn't offer expirations, spreads in FX choices are broad and size is 50,000 units.

The smallest sizes in fxoptions I have found are from whotrades . Com, contracts sizes are offered by them but spreads are broad in contracts except maybe, GBP/USD, USD/JPY and EUR/USD AUD/USD. They also provide gold and silver choices but.

Try out sentryderivatives.com, they're part of Ava Trade. Vanilla options on 40 pairs gold and more, any day/any strike is option on 10,000. Like the finest I've ever seen on the internet and spreads look.

I try to actualize list of brokers offering classic vanilla fx choices for personal (~retail, individual) customers
that I know now (September 2016)

ikon (google ikon fund) - intereting trading requirements (1000 minimum dimensions, not too poor spreads on choices)
but I have any doubts that this is scam br oker (because of overly negative reviews over net, can it be actual trader or a bucketshop?)

    Xtb - shut fx options
alpari - shut fx options (needed it in USA branch only some years back)
finotec - seems they shut their fx options service (earlier offered to buy options only)

saxobank - fine created fx options merchandise (it is possible to buy/sell choices, have competitive spreads, loose margin for short positions)
have some binary variants (wager on exotic one touch and no touch choices expiring from 1 day to 1 year).
However, preferrable trading size begins from 50k units (for several pairs 100k units).
    (Non-offshore danish financial broker)

I also understand some fxbridge.com platform partners,
brokers who offer fx choices to retail customers (allow buy/sell)

AvaTrade - competitive spreads, 10k trade size minimal, you can buy/sell choices, quite loose delta/vega margining for small positions,
good selection of pairs for options, selection of expiries from overnight, 1w,2w,3w,1m.. .12m
    (offshore BVI broker from Ireland)
could possibly be ava is exclusive broker associate of sentryderivatives.com, who making fx options alternative based on FxBridge trading platform

FXDD - a tiny bit higher spreads than AVA's, along with a 100k minimum dimensions,
12 expiries - 3rd Thursday for each month. Quite loose margining for short positions (I don't know exact formulation,
    but for 0.5 delta eur/usd call/put it shows 1100-1200$, for 0.5 delta XAU/USD 100 ounce lot it's ~1400$
    independently from days to expiry)
(USA based broker, though with offshore Malta law)

IG Markets - described higher (their min lot seems to be 50k or 0.5 of contract,
offer 6 USD major EURGBP, EURJPY, GBPJPY. Bad selection of expiries - 1w, 2week, closest quarter and next quarter ~3m)

I decided to try trading fx options again,
that time I will try to trade with AvaTrade (with little deposit),
cause I liked FxBridge's platform since my prior trading with AFX Capital (currently closed fx options merchandise).
Also they have good spreads and other conditions.

    Further I'll write more details
if meet some very positive or negative moments.

It doesn't get better than this platform for trading FX Options, in my personal opinion: http://www.fxall.com/solutions--capa...cution/options. The beauty is that it is possible to exchange spot and options from the platform interface and you can automate trade execution through a FIX, COM or Java API, even if you are so inclined.

    Hi iDoubleStoch.
Which retail broker would provide Fxall? I believed it was just for institutional traders.
