I am a retail forex trader and unfortunately still use MT4. I do not trade manually but just with robots. Is difficult to suggest a broker, as what is good for me maybe isn't for u and viceversa. In addition, the option of a broker depend a lot by ur egy, the equilibrium u need to put money into a broker, along with other components. The only way to find the right broker for u is the trial and error procedure. Here onforexsoutheast.asiaforum can find infos online brokers. My favorite are Australian brokers

Corre is (once again) perfectly right - there is no real solution to do the homework by analyzing candidates on your own. I may add which diversifying the risk by utilizing brokers in parallel would be the most used tool you have as a trader.

I have traded futures manually for almost 20 decades. The pro is that trading futures have a centralized market, so the broker is not so important. The disadvantage is that leverage is low so u have to put a fantastic amount of money to trade.
Today I have switched completely to automated trading and so I trade forex on the crappy mt4 in retail level. My next step in 1 - two years is to trade with algos using repair Api

interesting ! Is slippage a huge element in futures ? Im attempting to scalp during large spikes (with trailing stop), occasionally related to news and that's the reason im considering moving into futures because execution and slippage can be a problem with fx brokers particularly during news.
Additionally, I hope you dont mind me asking this, but I took a peek at your trade explorer and nearly all of your trades last for about a minute, just how are you able to enter and exit so fast ? Can you still even ? Im asking this question cause the procedure I wish to use requires me to enter and exit very fast so im considering all of the choices which allow me to do that.
Lastly, its funny that you mention concerning api fix because I started a thread recently asking some questions associated with it, does it assist on execution only or does it also help reducing slippage ?
Sorry to ask a lot of questions at precisely the same moment.

When I had been trading futures had been trading large tendencies and so only 2 - 3 trades monthly with a very long duration. So slippage was a little matter. Now on forex I trade with robots and I scalp on duration. My commerce lenght is about 4 seconds. So slippage is very important. As for Fix Api, I do not have cannot assist at all. I plan to Think about using it in 2018, therefore have a lot of time to find out about it

I read few articles here they cant find an ECN with account protection.
    I trade on marketsforu
they're a true ECN with spreads of 0.08 for EU and no commissions.
They protect your account from negative balance.
    Google them and see.
