Thread: Best broker for United States residents

    Hey all,

I've done many searches for which broker is best to exchange with for US residents. I've come up with a few (offshore) but they have absolutely no regulation...

I've attempted to do research so far as brokers inside the USA go, but none are as great or have as good reviews as offshore brokers. It's making me think about moving from country.

Interactive Brokers hands down, for commission, disperse, and financial stability/regulation, as well as it can be used by you like a feed for Ninja.

For small accounts, FXDD Viking or Powertrader account (marked up Currenex feed, but nevertheless great propagates [0.0 to 0.5 EU and UJ].

I guess brokers with USA regulations are quite dependable. Like I understand they have a lot of requirements to their accounts.
Also USA government makes every year a report concerning brokers. It's helpful to view it.

Helps if you want to have an unregulated broker from some arbitrary island country.

Quite right too. If you're a resident of the US, choices are limited. You can not have the cake and eat it too.

    Thank You for the Answers!
The island brokers kinda make me wary of trading together. I guess that I will need to try a couple more . I am currently trading with forexoma, based from Hong Kong. They have been quite dependable, even during news events.

I might just move from the United States in the future to a Latin American country in which I was born (dual citizenship)

You are going to have to find an broker. No law means they do not ave to comply with any legislation. Only broker I am aware of is tradersway. They are unregulated, but after using them for some time, I find nothing wrong. Are they running a business in dominica or are they just a front for some larger money laundering scheme? Who knows, but so far, customer service is superb and spreads are nice. I was fortunate enough to find a complete day of 0.0 pip spreads with them. Only concern would be to be conscious of their commission arrangement as the commission recorded under their account types is not the ones. I am paying so or $ 9 rtl for gbpusd right to bout. Calculation is found in their FAQs.
