Hi Dark, in order to exchange mini-lots you need to start a mini-acct. Easy to do, then you merely transfer money.

I've a Regular account with InterbankFX. While I wish to trade a mini I kind .10 (no quotes) in the drop-down lots box. Works for me!

hello dark1, with met4 standard at ibfx you are able to trade micro, mini and full size lots. In fact you can enter with complete dimensions and scale with micro and/or mini lots.

Full lots are 1.0 etc

mini lots are 0.10 etc

micro lots are 0.01 etc

I think its pretty cool.

still keeping my eye on things, met4 standard has gone down 2 times in the past 3 days but maybe not for long. I like them a lot especially the attitude. You are not talked down to by any one and they will spend too much time as needed without sounding frued to answer questions. If you have any issues they will make it right they go to inform you. They look like they appreciate your business unlike other areas I have been. No coping desk is nice. I wish I could walk outside my door and go snorkeling. Oh well maybe someday. I snorkel in my pool but I have yet to see anything new or interesting. After all I have been married to the exact same woman for 15 decades.

Do you have to Ask MT4 with All the standard account or Will Be MT4 the Normal (default) platform?

The site includes a petition form to transfer standard 3.83 accounts to MT4. Though they say it is likely to have fleas for the next 30 - 60 days.

Jim, just curious here. Are you currently utilizing InterbankFX's version of MetaTrader that's integrated into their client software, or are you currently using the stand alone version of MetaTrader with data feed from InterbankFX.

I think I would prefer the latter as the integrated version seems to be lacking some features of the stand alone version.

Also, IF I wanted to auto-trade, would I must use the integrated platform or is it possible to use the stand alone as well?

Just finished with Interbankfx's customer service and they said it is possible to exchange partial lots with all the Standard but they need to be over 1 lot. I.e. 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 3.1 etc.. If you want to exchange under a lot then you must receive a acct. This was a part of my conversation with them:

Customer Support: Standared lots start at 1 lot
Customer Support: cash managers who have hundreds of accounts may exchange fractional lots

P.S. Have some of you Conventional accounts been able to exchange less than a complete lot? Perhaps the customer service folks don't really know.
