Thread: Please help me choose between these 4 brokers...

    Hi there,

I have been KILLING myself for the past couple of month only trying to start a damn dwell account to begin learning forex, my difficulty in choosing a broker is that my being a citizen of IRAN has produced all hell of issues in starting an account, I've likely contacted more then 30 brokers and got denied by many.

Finally I've a listing of 4 brokers which will accept me under particular conditions and I would strongly appreciate in your aid as to choose the one which you thing is advisable.

    My priorities are:
    MT4 platform.
Safety of my funds (under $50,000) in the event of bankruptcy.
    low spread on the EUR/USD.
    Hedging.

    Brokers:

    1 - ATC brokers. (MT4)
    two - ODL markets. (MT4)
    3 - FXCM.
    4 - HotspotFX.

I invite you all in advance for your ideas. I prefer MT4 to begin with, but when I have no option then be it, Oanda also allowed me, but I simply could NOT live with their platform in any way. I did some inspection tests on Forex Peace Army, however I don't understand why but I simply don't trust that site very much. I feel it is all fake.

Oanda's platform is just fine, no fluff or crap indiors, but what needed to trade successfully. If you can not exchange oanda profitably one probably should stick with a game account. JMHO

But if you really don't enjoy Oanda you might check out MGForex
    MBTrade, or Interactive Brokers

Thanks johnedoe for the fast response, I wanted to love Oanda since the reviews were truly outstanding, but kid window which we have to leave available behind is really distracting, (I'm a minimalist ) and I kept getting disconnected. The graphs did not return long enough and there was not any month or week time frame.

I'm made to do all of my research on MT4 and execute trades on Oanda that I prefer not to do.

Thank you for your frank opinion.

You believe Oanda's charts are bad? Attempt Interactive Brokers! My mentor, trading buddy, and I will be all utilizing the IB platform to trade and separate charts... cos we need to. Simple as that. I wouldn't get too hung up on it.

Oanda'a disconnections are a pain though. But I'd still suggest them.

    Utilize MT4 for charting

    FXCM for managing your trades.

Been alluded to, but you can always use one broker for charting and yet another for trading. Some of the greatest brokers out there have the worst charting packages, yet some of the worst brokers appear to have the best charts. Not sure why this is...
