To start with I'm not expecting everyone to join in on this. If people decide to that would be awesome.

The reason I am creating this really is to be a reminder for myself. And that is that I'm a terrible trader, following two decades of research and I've tried studied 2 methods in thickness both with the very same results. The outcome is that I will have 1 or two very profitable months followed by 3 or 4 weeks to where I literally feel as though I can only do wrong.

My dream of being a full time trader, I'm letting that go, letting go of the home traders office I made in my head. The reason I am still here is because I really do enjoy trading and considering the markets. In mid conversation with other people or in the middle of a meeting I find myself to start thinking about what is happening with the market or how I can better myself. Its still a passion, but I'm being true with myself here and now that this will never be a source of income.

Second article is what I am trying to get here. I've got an idea, and it'd be great if others joined in, but frankly I doubt it.

Since I am a lousy trader the one thing I can do and do well is to take losses, therefore I will play with my strengths. I will take loss after reduction. Here are the principles.

    1. Mechanical system just (Entrance and Stop losses can not be optional )
    2. Must use little stop losses (Small stop losses are necessary to guarantee long-term lossabilty)
    3. No Take profits (If I want to take losses nicely, taking profits will only get in the way)
    4. Once a Stop Loss is set, do not move it.
    5. Simply do so on a Demo Account

If others join in please follow these principles, and if you feel the need to inform me this is stupid and will fail, no need to inform me. I know, after all I am a lousy trader I am planning to fail with no hope of succeeding.

Im a lousy trader also, welcome into the clube but ´m proud.

I had been thinking I had been the only person who have declines, because in these forums we only see winners

I hope that the club has T-Shirts. . Perhaps even a slogan. Two years it took me, but I eventually became one of those 95%.

Come on pound, I know you can return to prevent me outside.

I really don't trade forex but I believe number one you have to get good at something. One market. After a time you get instinctive. Second you should adhere to an expert. Currencies I hear follow elliot waves. Thirdly, you should indie weekly service resistance and trade round that, and play close attention to options atm prices for boundaries. Compose these prices down at the appropriate time period and observe them. I believe this is really good advice. Allow me to knkow how it goes.

Okay, I am joking, but have you thought since you're so poor that you ought to do the opposite of what you would like to do? You think you must buy, so rather sell, lol. Kidding, but I understand how that feels.

One thing that might help. The market usually selects a direction for the upcoming few hours at particular times of day. The indior that is attached will allow you to find those hours. Secondly, you ought to be aware when major market news is released. Personally, I avoid being at the market for your spike, but rather wait for it to end and receive a fresh signal.

I tried that once. I set up Forex trade copier 2 and set it to reverse mode. It did not work welll.

The first week the inverse account made some cash, but after that my mind made the connection I was making money once the non-reverse account was losing cash. I wound up cutting my losers short and letting the winners operate, that was shattered the account.

This whole thread is a bit of tongue in cheek, maybe trading has less to do with entries/stop losses/take profits and more on how a trader deals with loss.

Frankly I am hoping others will join and maybe we will learn something.

Demo commerce and refuse to shut winners while getting out of losing trades fast.
