Thread: Weighted Escalator - a weighted stoch system

Thanks for the answers. I like the rating system had not understood you bumped it to 3 to account for the fluctuations, and did not even consider switching to a one minute chart. Will play with it some more within the next week.

OK, finally, I'm done with the first variant of the indior. Stick it in your charts allow it to go. I've some debugging info in the top of the indior just in case you want to verify that the numbers all match up properly with the former indior charts. Everything after the || at the upper right corner, after where it says'Score: (number) ||'would be the figures that make up the score.

Please beta test this new indior and let me know how it works for you. As you can see even from the picture, it's not 100% on scores. Not sure why at the moment, but it does give a very accurate current score (most significant ).

I upgraded the indior to print out the score NICE AND BIG onto the right side of the screen at the very top. I also cleaned up the code somewhat and added comments to ensure it is effortless to modify.
    Screen shot attached.

In these charts you have calculated the score for the candles for last many bars and so are composed just above the first STOCH window. (below price window)

Can you please alter /insert a window or anything to show exactly the same for all the pubs. This way it is possible to return and see what happened and learn. Once we know the bar history...

    Thanks.

I did people by hand. Because you might have seen by analyzing, whenever there are big swings in the market, the score changes and can even retrace back for a couple hours, making the'learning' somewhat hard to perform on several charts. I not going to draw by hand for several hours on all the charts. If you utilize the new indior I created, it shows a chart so you can MUCH more easily determine where the score has been at any given time. This should do what you are looking for.

Everything you see from what I've posted before, are best case situations (since they're looking into the past). It's best to try out the indiors out for yourself for some time to get a feel for these, and see how they react to the changes on the market. This is actually the perfect way to learn how to utilize them.

    Hi Frosty,

How are you coming along with this egy? I was curious about it some time ago but I got busy with various other things and never gave it a good try.

Only wondering how this system is progressing along? Any new updates?

I think the indiors are unique and easy to use. I can see some good comments you have with this thread and I think that your indior really has a potential. If only the scores could be automatically drawn, I believe this will really be useful.

    thanks and cheers

This thread is somewhat dated and work for the weighted escalator is now going into the AWE system / Bastard EA. I'll try to link it afterwards, just getting back from vaion...
