Note that the market makers and institutions are various entities and have various aims.

The most generally the important fundamental facet for currencies is inflationary expectations. This will determine the long-term trends but will not assist you on timeframes that are low with entries or a particular trade.

Institutional traders do not utilize indiors except for specific moving averages....

PM me if you would like to understand more about what I had been speaking about.

Strategy isn't important. The question is being asked.

The question you should be asking is how do you value a tool.

There are many thousands of egies however all of them are worthless if you're buying something that is overvalued.

I disagree. Strategy is all. Timing is all about, but therefore egy comes next, following the all time winner: Timing nobody appears to have it at their pockets.

You can buy large and that isn't really a issue. All you need is a fantastic EXIT Strategy.

I shall give here an easy visual example. Will not explain in details. This entails hedging with a multiplier. Senior traders don't like mixtures. Great for them. Perhaps they are not perfect?

While the price was flat (there were just two horizontal periods on the picture ), the buy net was at break even or at little profit.
Buy's TP is on the right. So, buying high isn't really a problem, in case you have an idea how to exit the buy, once the buy isn't really the correct direction...

Buy High??? I'd say: Yes! Yes! Why not?

I didnt say you cant buy high. I said you shouldnt buy something that is overvalued. A big difference is between the two.
There are of course times when it is appropriate to buy at a swing high or sell at a swing reduced and that's if value is in your favour.

Maybe I was a bit flippant by saying egy doesn't matter. Of course it matters but you may struggle if you're buying overvalued or purchasing undervalued goods however good your egy.

OK. Now this makes sense to me. I totally agree with that. It is hard. I only wanted to point out it it is possible. Doable, yes, but still quite hard it's... Not wise trading, but still, one can easily get away. Thanks for making it clear.
