1:100 is not a lager ratio of leverage but it can cause a fantastic trouble for those newcomers when especially market moves at random. 1:50 that's why is more appropriate to prevent risk with surely. My trading career, as a newcomer I've lost vast of cash thanks to using high leverage because there was no trading plan with money management. So, before earning profit by using leverage it's more appropriate to make sure money managing ability.

I think the new traders becoming unaware of the market conditions should continue to keep the leverage low in the start because high leverage generally maintains higher damages as well.

You can test the functioning count with low deposit and leverage and you can raise the leverage and residue accordingly. In the event you trade with leverage it involves large risks as the margin increases so with a market fluctuation could lead to huge losses.
Yes, that's the true disadvantage to exchange with a tall trading leverage! I think, traders need to select their leverage attribute according to their egies' requirement! It can not be your choice!

Personally I figure out this based on account size. Im a fan of trading 100k risking 1% each trade, so a 10k account for example I would need atleast 1:10 leverage in order to be able to create 1 standard trade. Risking only 10% of my portfolio at a time, I would like 1:100 leverage on stated 10k account for my own trading style

    cheers

The reduced the leverage the longer pips it will take for one to margin call should you take advantage of no stoploss. However, very low leverage type of feeds to the trading bias individuals have being as they've a lot of pips to utilize as cushion, nevertheless that allows individuals to continue for quantity of time even against their original egy. So all rookies should focus first before thinking about leverage.

    Hi,
could someone answer a question for me please.
I operate in another sector of the market and just need to make sure I know how leverage is utilized here.

When folks talk of leverage of state 1:100 does that mean that a individual with state a 5k account will trade a position dimensions of 500k?

Really, another question while I am here please. .

Whenever folks talk about winning percent do they mean percentage of winning trades or percentage of winning times? As they are different.

    Thanks in advance

Of course low leverage is excellent for trading. Apart from that risk management is important. The way you are managing your risk that is also crucial. For newbie I think they shouldn't risk more than 2% of their balance. Remember you need a businessman mindset not a gambler mindset.

It might take longer for you to lose 2% of your account on lesser compared to higher. However emotinal attachment is involved in tf compared to higher.

2% is ratio is totally safe for newcomers to avoid unfortunate losses and risk however there's not any 1 newcomer who will preserve his risk ratio accurately, because of lacking real wisdom and experience.

Yes, this is a good egy also- higher leverage with demo to check the machine, then low leverage with the live account in order to trade closely.
