Well I know that's faster and which is slower...

One thing Chris with your EA every time you restart the platform along with the EA initializes if the condition is met it's going to start an extra place if there's a current place open on precisely the exact same chart.

To your own information. Not that it something to be aware of.

Nothing to do with quick money.... All related to mechanical testing method versus manual testing method...

Each has its pro's and cons, enough said.

    90153 Hello
Doing some forward analyzing on 9 Pairs to see what happens, just started a few hours ago so not much happening yet. I got an outcome and then a Sell on EURUSD as shown in the chart. I'm using a 30 PIP Max pub so even if it goes down a few more when I hit the 30 PIP Max pub size the PIP profit won't be what it could be. I believe a 50 PIP pub Max will work better for this particular setup. You may see I am currently at 24 PIP pub size so can get 6 PIPs if I close the trade at 30 PIP pub size, at which a 50 PIP pub would give me another 10 PIPs of profit.
What does everybody think? Of course, I could just let it go to its TP and ignore the 30 PIP pub limit.

Couple of other small bug fixes.

I will not update any more unless specifically asked.

Chris_B is doing a fantastic job. He will find out a lot by completing his EA.
I'd rather see him learn to schedule a fantastic EA. (I have written tens of thousands )

Chris_B, if you get into a jam, I will assist if you ask. Keep working, on it, you are doing good.
Tis backtesting nicely for me today thanks for adding the additional code.
Granted, I am not certain its trading exactly as it needs to, but I want to devote a little more screen time and slow down the testing to make sure what's going on, but it IS trading is pretty interesting. Definitely seems to be profitable with a equity curve with 50 pip crb and 17min 25max.
Problem I think I'm seeing is that it is not trading every opportunity, but I will verify that when I have some time to slow things down and try to figure out why.

90153Figured and for those folks who are backtesting with the offline range charts, there is.
By way of instance, if you're doing what I am, and using the m1 interval to make the rangebar chart, and naming it m5. .
Make certain to delete the m1 history afterwards, before running egy tester. If you don't, tester sees the m1 data there and tries to recreate the chart from this info. It worked here, but caused my range bars to be somewhat jumpy, and also the ea could not work properly. Working now, and the curve is much more straightforward.
My next step over the weekend would be to use dukascopy tickdata to produce the range chart, and backtest with that. Won't be accurate for backtesting purposes.
