Agreed long term north on paper, but you should be sure its shifting south until possibly 2009 january. From the economic position in the Euro zone, the drop in oil price need and the gradual return in assurance about the dollar.
I exchange the dailies
This is my article of 12 july 2008:
but appearing from the EU perspestive (Poland - newbee at EU) I will notice that everyday more people are buying US products or merchandise from US.
Look in the cars for example, the TOYOTA traders have cut the prices by 15 percent a week in Poland.
Look in the real estate - selling a 80 sqm apartment in Cracow (southern Poland) one can aford to buy a home in US.
Electronics are substantially cheaper compared to EU.
Last data on trade balance show that US becomes an extremely interesting market. It of course needs time, which will not be next week, but so strong euro will improove US economy.
Polish currency (zloty) last week - for the first time ever - had been traded at one of gloss airports for tourists for more than 50 cents.
Poland is quite a little market, instead new on the EU stage.
However, if the things continue like this the production of anything here will probably be more expensive than in the united states.
Good luck everyone!
-from Cracow (Poland).
So I also, expects the change, but for today the principal trend is north till the day whnen it breaks down the trend line on week chart.
