    Hi,

I'm a newbie and would love to know how differnt it is to trade on LIVE account when compared with some demonstration apart from the fact that using LIVE you're handling real cash and you also become more attentive.

    thanks

DEMO ACCT - not dealing with fear and greed.
LIVE ACCT - dealing with fear and greed.

Throw 20 into an oanda account and try it LIVE.

    Technicall differences include:

Live accounts. Pricing feeds are streaming and as acurate or even near the market as you can.

Demo account, price feeds could be lagging or outright inaccurate.

    What makes the real difference:

What makes the real difference is Plogical. When coping with funds, traders are usually liberal in their risk and rewards principles. You are able to experiement with thoughts and loose or gain as far as you would like by maxing out your LOTS. But when dealing with actual cash, money that you had to work hard to get, traders are normally a lot more cautious taking an entry or exit place. It make's a trader consider with actions and what the impacts are or will probably be for his/her actions. I idea of blowing up your account have a inclination to run rampage although the heads of Live account traders.

The distinction is in your head. Mostly brokers have a tendency to have the conditions and quotes on demo and real accounts.

But the cost of this decision at real account is measured in your money that makes you err... nervous. Apart from that - nevertheless the charts, orders, quotes, everything.

This might not work equally as the amount you are trading with is too small, it will not matter to you too much to eliminate this, so you will find yourself readily breaking your rules with bad money management.

I'd say open an account with no longer than 1000 dollars worth of trade and capital 0.01 lots and keep it this way until you've doubled into account, there is absolutely no point trading bigger lots.

That is tricky to do but will block you from needlessly losing bigger amounts of money.

The only way to learn is to try. You can not explain the difference between live and demo trading, in a forum post. There isn't any frequent response or explanation that is common easy, everyone reacts differently to live trading.

One guy is able to move from demonstration to live and not have a problem at all. Another make struggle for years.

Only way to learn is to TRY.

While I have a live account that is my primary focus, I run a demonstration even after more than 3 years trading. I use it to examine new ideas but I find I'm as pissed off by making a mistake in the demonstration as I am in the live account.

It may be that this includes time. I understand that I can't afford to duplie that mistake when trading money When I do something stupid once I input a trade. So, nowadays there really isn't any difference between demonstration and live.

At least demonstration trading allows you time to sharpen your method, learn from your mistakes (hopefully) and prepare yourself for the real world. Do not go until you have demo traded for at least three consecutively profitable weeks and after that begin with the lot size you can.

At this point all you are seeking to do is learn to trade profitably; the larger prize will follow.

Ironically, I do both demo and live, have different demonstration and live accounts for various egies and testing.

Merely to make some fun here. On a demo account the majority of the trading egies you can find around make you demo-millionaire, on the account the egies make you real-loser.

You know, people say that there's no much diference in actual or demo account. It is just on demonstration you risk virtual (not actual, not your) money.
Even trading news will be the same
