Thread: why are almost all of traders in the world men?

It is funny reading the comments. Almost virtually every professional trader I have seen comment on the subject of men vs women traders has always said that women are better traders than men on average. Guys are more egotistical, take excessive risk, and have difficulty emotions when it comes to losing and winning weight. Girls are better calculated risk takers, more easy to train, don't care much about losing or winning trades, and learn from their mistakes better as they do on the bottom line.

I wonder if women have been restricted from gambling, much like politics, because of the status quo, gender roles, etc?

Last word... girls take time out to have babies and bring them up. This takes time out of the trading/learning agenda. . .big time. . .Would any of you guys like to undergo childbirth, overlook an opportunity cos you have to change a nappy, potty train etc.. ? Grow up OP.

It is somewhat short sighted to declare all traders are men!!! How on earth do you understand.

I understand plenty of female traders....they would knock most of the male traders I understand out of this playground.

Female traders just get on with it and have no need to shout about it.

Dig around a bit and I think that it's statistically proven that at the trading arena girls v boys constantly includes the girls kicking butt. Womens brains are wired differently and that's what seperates them they have an advantage.

Regrettably excellence isn't confined to the trading arena .

Exactly the stage, I have seen a similar question somewhere and the responds were exactly the same. There are many females in the market, but it does not undermine the fact that the guys are more. I think men have interest more in this kind of material (forex).

You have it wrong, you all. It is because men are genetically predisposed to suck at preparing meals. However the invisible hand of the free market 80000 years B.C. taught the cave man is for free, so they had to convince the female to aid with the meals by offering them excellent wealth in return.


Fast forward to modern times. Females (if sufficiently hot) can only marry a guy who's capable of getting rich rather than worrying about themselves.

Males have much higher testosterone levels.

Testosterone amount is directly proportional to the spatial consciousness. That's the precise reason why men are better drivers than most girls. Awareness is crucial in quality for trading. Additionally dealing fast with numbers and having the ability to represent situations in a way that is mathematical.
And
Testosterone is connected with agressiveness, rivalry, competitiveness, survival and endurance in high-stress environment.
So
Males have to be better traders generally. That doesn mean that there arent girls that conquer the markets. I do not discriminate anyone. But they are the exception which proves the rule I'm asbolutely sure there are, and they dont have chunks and penises.
But statistically - much higher proportion of male population has the bodily and therefore exhibit the mental qualities to live forex, or at least to have the will and the need to prove themselves in this endeavor. And ... most fail.

Due to the traits that I described, majority of girls are likely not interested in attempting forex. Possibly testosterone is the thing that pushes us but abilities and other brain functions determine the outcome. Nonetheless, it is a reality I have relatives who are would be intersted . Majority of girls dont care about it. It isn't intersting to them. They wanna look after the family have a stationary job and have children. It is.

Women are naturally not designed to battle. And financial markets are a battlefield.
