Could anyone do 2 stochastic in the exact same chart?
Stochastic 5 Min and Stochastic 15 Min exactly the same chart or Stochastic 15 Min and Stochastic 30 Min exactly the same chart, etc

Is there a stochastic indior that change the colour of the lines when its change the leadership?

Thanks so much for supplying the reply to pepbullish's question, as I also have been looking for this particular indior. But I have managed to download the initial file no issue, but am unable to open MTF ex4 file. I am also having difficulty opening TPL documents.

When I try to open, Windows File Association opens stating File Type: Unknown and Description: Windows doesn't recognize this file. The Windows Live Search directed me 'RegistryBooster', which gave the impression it would address my problem.

I have purchased, downloaded and run'RegistryBooster', which found 92 mistakes in my system, repaired all of them, but it has not helped and still unable to open ex4 along with TPL documents. I have downloaded mq4 files/indiors and implemented them to charts no issue.

I am new to the MT4 platform (along with theforexsoutheast.asiaForum) and enjoy it a lot, but still not informed yet with it's abilities with regard to various documents, ea's etc, so please excuse if the next is a silly question, but would it work if a template has been submitted here that I could download? It most likely would not if the template is an ex4 or TPL file, but still worth a try.

I would appreciate any help or suggestions you or anyone else could provide. I have to state that I find this an outstanding forum, with an exceptionally beneficial bunch of traders.

Hello Johnny,

Unless you're working to make programming changes, the mq4, tpl, and ex4 files are actually meant to be opened exclusively by the MT4 trading platform software and there is a special MetaQuotes Language Editor appliion within MT4 which will open the files for you. It's started by pressing the F4 key while the MT4 program window is active OR you can find it in the TOOLS dropdown menu at the very top of MT4.

As far as I know, the template files are constantly in .tpl format. To use a template .tpl file, it has to be copied into the first Template sub-folder within your MT4 installation program files onto your PC.

Expert Advisors and Indiors both come in mq4 and ex4 files. Expert Advisor mq4 and ex4 files need to be copied into your Pros sub-folder within your MT4 program files. Indior mq4 and ex4 files need to go one level deeper to the Indiors sub-folder found WITHIN the Pros subfolder. If your MT4 appliion was running when you placed the files in their proper folders, you will have to shut MT4 and reopen it for the files to be recognized/usable by MT4.

Thanks indeed for the very clear explanation, since I am now considerably wiser of a number of the fundamental requirements of the MT4 platform software. I have now solved the problem and everything is working just fine.

I apologize for the misleading question, as I had planned to say that a problem using'download' rather than'open' in my post, as the problem was that I couldn't get the file to transfer to my PC.

I published a separate technical query and'irusoh' quite kindly responded with the following:-

I don't know, perhaps some security appliions disallows to get into unregistered document types.
You can check this by registering ex4 ant tpl extensions.
Visit my personal computer on start menu then tools menu/folder options/file forms
then add ex4 along with tpl types.
Try to download again.
I use windows xp.

I've done as you suggested, playing around with various configurations and must have stumbled onto something (not sure exactly what), but it's solved the problem, as I am now able to download OK.

No Difficulty. I wondered if this was the legitimate problem or not, but I am glad you've got it worked out. One solution maybe for the future should you encounter download problems is to get somebody put the offending file to some .zip archive for you.

Pipskateer....thanks again for that excess piece of helpful information. I can use a computer well, but admit I know very little about the software workings and issues.
