Thread: powerful tool that analyzes direction and strength

  1. #1
    Hello every 1
is there any effective tool that analyzes the management and the strength of the 8 major currencies: EUR, GBP, AUD, NZD, CAD, CHF, JPY, USD -- both in real time, and also on historical statistics. Generates a sound signal and a message when a trend changes or possess divergence .The potency of the sign will be calculated for all pairs which include these currencies (28 pairs total)
    thanks

Why 28 pairs? Where does this number come from when actually it can be any number (that contains the currencies of interest) and when it mostly depends on the broker as well as the symbols selected in the market view?

Forget about 28 pairs. That's something that somebody found out as an eventual number while, in actuality, it's meaningless.

Truly, it is based on the 8'major' currencies

Together with the USD being crossed with AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, JPY, NZD there are the 7 major pairs, which would be the very traded BTW

If these currency are all crossed, this produces the 21 small pairs

    Hence 7 21 = 28

    Have a nice afternoon

Are they the most traded? At today of cryptos it's not too certain any more
    ----------------------------------------------

Why limiting the strength calculation to crosses of only those currencies?
When a currency has additional crosses, why not using those also? Are they significant? Why? After all we're after a strength of a currency, not after a strength of a currency in a basket

I had spend decades by trading using csm, the main prob takes place when Central banks changes the burden of currency after big deals, gdp amounts and such.... As a result of our CSM indi relies on old fixed weight, it starts to reveal false information.... In my opinion if someone somehow constantly get the correct weight of each currency then no requirement of another data is required

Csm is bidratio. Only take price ranking relative to high/low but employing all crosses ( 7 symbols per base currency ). Subsequently is an ambiguous advantage ( actually momentum tool)
