Thread: Im loving Candle Sticks, newbies checkem out

There are some articles on this particular particular forum on the wisdom of merely using bars or candles for trading. . .do a fast search and browse 'em all.

I would hesistate simply to base my decisions solely on, especially on small timeframes (less than 4h) because these formations could be important. I would think about adding other methods to contextualise them - look at Jim's thread for hints on using confluence to refine price action (bars or candles) using pivots, fib traces etc.. .to pick and filter out the 'A' trades.

(Do not wish to rain on anybodys parade. . .just thought it'd be worth mentioning.)

Yeah..personally I believe it's a waste of time studying more than the 1/2 dozen candle patterns..just the reversal main continuation in the place where they show up on the chart. . .you do not need to know that the 3 marching virgins distribute on 3 hills under dark skies pattern to trade

Occasionally I do not think you want to even bother understanding the name ...
after awhile, you are just going to have the ability to view them ...

these candlesticks definitely need to be played some thing else....

The Candlestick Course is a plan of course.

Candlesticks also nicely attest a balance of power, so to speak , at ranges of time. Who is prevailing, which disposition is currently commanding, the only one of buyers or sellers? The understanding of this is essential and, in my opinion, essential for producing fantastic trade choice.

Inever could get into candlesticks and'm from the old school.

Hey Blue! Why so blue? Until it gets stuck like that scrub that frown of your face! Candlesticks attempted just like I attempted signs. I dropped them both quite immediately after finding them to have some value, but not enough to hold my interest. But that is just me. If someone else finds value in them and can exchange them then more power to them. It doesn't matter to me what people use to exchange, Provided That they're happy, having fun and earning a little cash

Hey diallist! Naw I'm not so gloomy, its just everyone was having a fantastic time talking about candlesticks however I could not relate to it. You know what just hit me? Is sooooooooooooo true! Do what you love and the money will follow. I looooooooooooooooove the FX markets! At once I left her and wanted to stop. But my love brought me back. And Person its better than ever before. My last 13 trades have been winners because of no small part from what I learned from you guys. I am starting to find consistant. I mean I am effective without (gasp!) Elliot waves, Gann Time Frames, The Delta Phenom, The Trident Strategy,Murray Math, Drummond Geometry,Adam concept, Astrological Financial forcasting, maybe not there's anything wrong with them. Like you said ,more power to them if thats what works for them. I am quite blessed to have access to folks just like you diallist . You and the rest of the guys here like Merlin and James16 and everybody else have consistently given me so much postive encouragement. Thank you so much! No REALLY thank you! .No one could possibly understand how much you guys have affected directly my future for the great. I am really thankful and grateful to be part of this community. Dead silence from Fiji! And if you've ever talked to Fiji, you know how rare that is! It was too funny!

You do not use signs????? NO MAs? I guess I'm a little puzzled on what you use to decide to exchange but maybe we have a different comprehension of what indiors are. That is my guess. Thanks for any help.
