Thread: Take profit missed by a pip, What would you do?

Hello traders, I just need your valuable opinion concerning this occurrence that is normal, what could you do if the price misses your take profit by a pip, and begin moving back toward your own entrance?

Would you close it or do you leave the commerce available and expect it eventually hit your take profit too risky having a losing trade

There is no proper answer to that.

What TF and for how many pips you went after?

    Stop loss is the same...

Nothing you can do... if you are watching it then you think oh a pip will touch and it Takes on Moving Another way...
It Is a Really Tough and Also the most fruing Place to be in

Timeframe is just 1 hour, take profit could be 60 pips while stop loss is 30 pips

I have experienced this often ,and if you're trading using a platform ,you should not be worrying.
A trick I use and it saved me several times , deducting 2-3 pips out of my TP ,therefore instead of 30 pips I will utilize 28 pips ,and instead of 60 ,I would utilize 57 pips TP.

I would tend to agree with fxnow. A thousand decades back when I used take profit I discovered that by deducting the spread, I normally hit on it easily. You have to remember that if you're trading to some line that is commoneveryone understands it, and will play games to snare you. If you trail into a PSAR, it may protect you a little. Recommend using 0.1/1.0 for closer into the candles. Since it does not appear you're doing any market momentum dimensions, these may be good choices for you. Without any tools, you cannot understand the distinction between a head fake and a reversal, so better to exit in the PSAR than your stop loss. Right?

Always spend the weekends looking for ways to improve your own body, or for mistakes you want to fix. It may need tweaking if it occurs frequently.

If Im seeing my charts I normally close out before it hit on my TP. This kind of thing happens to most traders. What you can do its place your sl in the green so if the market turns you will still be out in a profit. If you are trading using a dominate and intact trend its potential to allow it to perform and price may end up shing back to your own prefer. Like crackpot said there is no correct answer to that. There are many ways to play with with the market and based on if you are currently scalping or in a time frame place will be a different answer.

The question would be. Why was your TP at that specific spot in the first place. ?
If you do not know where the following retrace is likely to be you should not be using actual money to exchange

Stick to the plan you created before you entered the trade - don't just make up things as you go. Take note of it however, be sure to note your fruion in your diary. So be it when it happens the once. But if you get a whole lot of notes stating something you are having trouble.

What's your research on price action? I'd do a manual shut win or lose if my read informs me that a change is coming.
