For me personally I use the multi-time-frame approach.
It is 24LWMA ON H8 to demone trend direction, for MT4 there is no H8 so to curve-fit which you multiply H4 by 2 which provides 24*2=48 at H4...

I believe the problem needs to be with either the MT4 Platform as a complete or the Broker server.

What I deduced from analysing your screenshots is the platform finds it easier to maintain...

Please do tell, do I attach this to the M1 chart alone or to just the offline charts alone, or both?

I loaded the indy in my charts and it looked like the Holy Grail only for me personally to see that it repaints. Horrible
