Thread: Gamblers Pips EA needs debugging

    Hello Jaws.

Listen to what is telling you. It won't work. A endless number of traders and also gamblers have analyzed this before you, myself included.
I didn't use EA's for testing but I prefer Excel and the result is always the same. It do not work.

But like Spaceduck say if you've got a trading system with greater than 50% hitrate and 1:1 RR and also overcome the trading price like spread/slippage, then you will find som MM systems which will do the job. But in case you've got a tradingsystem like this you do not need this kind of MM because you already have a profitable system.

Anticipating this. One of my long term systems that is fully auto utilizes MM that is martingale as a part and produces avg 9% per month with maximum 30 percent DD very conservative secure.

Here are my backtest results. 51.32% winners over 4 decades and 9 months with an overall return of 6.9648 occasions my initial deposit. Could be much better if I add some kind of automatic increase to the starting lots. Here's the proof. It seems like I really do have a system that gets better than 50%, now I'm going to give it a true evaluation back to 2000 to see whether it could have lived the killer recession.

Well.... Again. . Like I told you, even if you have a system with greater than 50% hitrate and makes profit later spread then that's the reason you've profit in the end. Martingale will only make it FAR more risky to exchange so you will be much better of simply trading it like it is.
Your proof as you say is that you have a winning system in the first loion. Not a winning MM (Martingale)

Doesn't seem like it would have worked back in the days of 1000:1 margins and hedging in the united states, so it's not invincible and may potential fail under the ideal market conditions. So, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
However, since 1/2009,just before the hedge ban, it could have been profitable using a 51.04% win rate and a yield of 9.9896 times the initial deposit over 5 years and 9 months. Not too bad.

Is this ea to open a transaction on the candle management?
I turned off the martingale and using a fixed stop reduction, but it seems it does not alway open a commerce

The altered version in place 11 in this thread does seem to be working right. I simply ran it with the martingale turned off in visual mode. It opens a single trade and another as soon as TP or SL is hit.

Thats the one I am using, it will dont appear to work all the time for me, perhaps it's linked to the pairs and broker demonion I am using
I did have some excellent results with it, therefore I'll keep playing it.
